It's not just the fight song, they would have to change the whole university. The students and "former students" would have to learn how to stop constantly comparing themselves to texas at every opportunity, for starters

It seems like A&M is losing all of their traditions..
It was discovered not to long ago that the A&M use of the 12th man as their near and dear term to describe their fan base was actually used by the university of Iowa 10 years or so prior. Now people are beginning the question the entire 12th man legend and this may make the 12th man trademark much more difficult to defend. They were already forced to have to change the 12th man Wikipedia entry.
