Magnolias has great women if you don't mind trying for a girl drunker than frick and half your age. It's good for remembering how awesome 21 was and sad that you don't belong anymore in your mid 30's.
Creature comforts for sure. Agree that troplicalia is the best IPA there is. It was nearly impossible to find over the summer.
I love going to the grill it is awesome late night fare. Gotta get the fries with feta dip. Their chicken club sandwich is Ballin.
Transmetropolitan has great pizza.
I'd recommend trapeze and last resort as well.
Cali n Titos is good too if you don't mind a small drive. It's Latin Cuban fusion.

This place has nose-dived in quality over the last few years IMO. Been there a few times over the last 6 months (not on my own accord) and had really not-good meals each time, especially for the price. I think this place has run its course and there are many better places to eat.
If OP is going to the game Saturday then Cali N Titos is literally the closest possible place to Stegeman to eat, unless you count the concession stands.

Does that gas station next to Cali n titos still not sell alcohol? I hated that place

I used to live about 0.2 miles from there. Was my go-to walk on Sundays to get powerade and hungover snacks.

Haha I'm not sure- I haven't been in there in years and years.... because they don't sell alcohol

Anyone been to Creature recently on a Saturday? Their website says they're only open 1-4 on Saturdays...that just doesn't seem right

Last time I was there(a couple months ago) they still didn't, at least I don't remember it, but I was a few drinks deep at that point, lol...
They opened the new one on the East side, and while its out of the way it's is really good and the atmosphere inside is pretty awesome.

Yep that's right, it's weird... But if you want an awesome day, go to Creature Comforts during the day, and then catch a ride to Terrapin as they are open 4:30-7:30... You may not remember much though.

I have some friends that have pulled the double and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Terrapin definitely has more variety than Creature Comforts, but you just can't beat the Tropicalia. You'll be pleased wherever you go. SBC is really solid as well.

you will never once regret the time that you do eventually come. A quintessential college town that has anything you'd ever want to see in a college setting within about a 4 block radius. Truly one of a kind.

See I like Tropicalia, but to me it can't compare to some of Terrapins like Rye Cubed, Wake and Bake, Hopzilla, etc.
Again I love Creature Comforts, but it totally depends on what kind of beer you like.
So far I haven't been thrilled with SBC. There space and atmosphere is awesome, but their beer to me is ok at best. The Hobnail IPA and Broad St pale are pretty good, but other than that everything else is kinda meh.

No doubt. Had many good weekends there coming down from Charleston.

Has Nowhere Bar been mentioned, because that shithole has a special place in my heart

If you want to play pool, drink cheap beer, listen to good music, and make questionable decisions in doorless bathroom then Nowhere is where it is at.

That is literally the perfect description for Nowhere.
