So by "everyone" you mean posters on this message board?
I've been watching SportsCenter for maybe a half hour this morning and this game has already been mentioned twice and picked as a game that may shock people.
Delusion is strong with yall. Getting all your info from a message board.

I would trust the LSU fans regarding their analysis of ASU. This game means a lot to them

I just don't see them beating bama. Having said that, I also didn't see the LSU/ wisconsin game going the way it did either.

VT-Ohio State
I think Ohio State kills VT.

I think this game will be good for a half. Auburn runs away with it after that. Auburn will be a very good team this year in my opinion.

They won't. Bama is too talented. The only way Wisconsin can win is if they put up big points early while Bama figures out their new offense. In order to do that, Joel Stave has to play up to his potential. And he never plays up to his potential, so they will lose.

Well for this game the line has actually fluctuated between +3 and -3, which means Vegas doesn't know.
When has ASU been favored?

Heart says Texas Aggies.
Head has no idea. Should be a great game and fantastic atmosphere.

Because the Aggies will win.

I suspect ASU will be able to run the ball well. Aggie sucked defending it last year. ASU is replacing 2 starters, but the OL will consist of four 5th year seniors and a 4th year junior, average around 310 and is expected to have 3 guys picked in the next draft. They weren't a great running team last year, but they weren't awful, and they're expected to be better this year. You can dick with scheme all you want with the new DC, but A&M has a smallish defensive line that will be giving up a lot of power.
While ASU's defensive line wasn't great and has some similar size problems due to having to move guys around because of issues at nose tackle, it's not like they were a complete sieve. That was with a defense replacing 9 starters last year, with only one senior on the DL. Now they're returning 9 starters, along with every backup, and have plenty of upper classmen. An excellent back 7 should let Graham cheat and blitz a lot more, too. Allen will probably throw for a lot of yards, but that's the sort of game ASU wants. Lots of passes, lots of blitzing, get a few picks and sacks.
The defense is structured to beat rinky dink offenses. They recruit corners to play safety. They recruit safeties and bulk them up to linebackers so they can cover RBs.
It might be a good game, but if it's a blowout, it's probably going against A&M.

I think aTm wins a close one.

Your defensive line. It's not very big. Your ends, while athletic, are giving up 50 or 60 pounds. The backups are even smaller. Some of your DTs are listed at 280, 290. The only guy listed at nosetackle type size is a 3rd string freshman. They're going up against an LG, C and RG that will be in the L this time next year. It's likely you're going to get run on.

Wut? We have 5 DTs at 300 pounds or over that will get playing time
You do realize defensive ends are not supposed to weigh the same as the offensive tackles right?

People are going to be surprised by A&M's DLine this year.
ASU is a good team. Would be a good win.

God I would hope our DE's weren't 300 lbs! 255 and 260 lbs are good size for a DE.....DeeDaDee

At 6'5"? 6'6"? 260 is sort of light. They're not tiny, but they aren't big. Did it occur to you that maybe one of the reasons you gave up 200 and whatever yards on the ground last year was because you're playing 2 rush ends and a bunch of 3 techs?
Look, it doesn't matter that you don't believe. Just saying when ASU is grabbing 5 or 6 up the middle ad infinitum, it might not be all scheme.
