I already posted the 2010 championship game rating, it did a 0.6

Even with baseball growing in popularity as you say, it is still far behind women's college basketball when it comes to TV ratings and attendance.

I won't correct you again.
That would be obnoxious.
But I really want to do so.

He's not very good at grammar for being a "producer".

I don't care that my school is in the CWS.

All these TCU fans are acting like its a huge deal, like its just as big as going to the Rose Bowl or College Football Playoff or Final Four

It's really not... people would care about the above nationally, but not the CWS. Especially when Women's College Basketball regular season beats it in TV ratings.

Let your fans celebrate. What a sorry rep of TCU you are.

No offense, but the Neilson ratings are an outdated yardstick in this day and age. They don't accurately represent niche markets. They don't take into account alternative viewing options. College Baseball isn't popular, but Neilson ratings aren't a good measurement of that either. How many Neilson families are there?

I am not using Nielsen, I am using Rentrak. Much larger sample size and much more accurate data collecting. Nielsen uses diaries, Rentrak uses data from DISH/DirecTV/Cable Providers.

I got to see guys like Craig Gentry, Cliff Lee, Drew Smyly and Dallas Keuchel before anyone even knew who they were

I saw Gentry before you knew who he was.

He was a much better basketball player than baseball.

Nothing I said was wrong.

Do you think anyone outside of college baseball diehards remember Kent State or Stony Brook making it to Omaha a few years ago?

No, but your casual fan will remember the Florida Gulf Coasts, George Masons, and Boise States of the world.

College Baseball is not a sport where your athletic department or school will get national respect from.

1. I am not a play by play broadcaster, I am in the broadcasting industry and for TCU athletics I was a producer.

3. I didn't get fired from TCU. I relocated to Iowa because I got hired for a better television job up here with better pay.

The same LSU fan will be by shortly to discuss how this isn't true because LSU baseball sells an amount of tickets for 40 homes games which is a larger total than any women's team sells for their 15-20 home games.

Ask any Cal-State-Fullerton fan.

USF is more known from that state due to their basketball exploits half a century ago...

Then why did you watch him play in high school if it's so much inferior to the NBA?

Because I was assigned to guard him.

Baseball in general is just not as popular as it once was. If you haven't been raised around/watching baseball, there's a good chance that baseball will never win you over. It's very boring in comparison to other sports.
