Wow They lose a ton, plus the schedule is harder next year. They'll be good in 2018, but next year will be a rebuilding year for them.

on the other hand harbaugh is basically a cult leader who likes football more than being worshipped.

But again, all of this started because you said LSU is always manhandled by elite defenses.
I've admitted that was misworded and the only team that manhandled them was Alabama. WTF is the point of admitting error if somebody is just going to keep going back to it to make a point against the thing you admit wasn't properly stated? I'm not WilliamTaylor or Germantown, if I say something wrong, get called on it and see it, I'm happy to admit to it. But if that's pointless then frick it I'll just get defending it with horseshite narratives and re-directs. DEFENSIVE LINE COACH, 6 IN A ROW, LOL FOURNETTE.
My point, again, was that LSU's offensive line was above average, even very good, but not elite. I think the metrics and stats back me up on that. You are free to disagree.

Oline discussion
Tbh, I agree that LSU's oline was pretty good, but not elite. I posted before the season I was concerned about our oline, especially the tackles. Except for Pocic I believe, every olineman missed time with injuries. We did a good job against even the better Ds (not Bama) but weren't elite.
This year I think we can be better if healthy. Weathersby should be gtg at right tackle. The interior 3 will be good whoever they end up starting. Still not sure Malone is the answer at LT though. I hope Deculus (true freshman) just takes the spot. He looks the part and was an EE to help learn the plays.
I do believe the oline will be improved simply because Canada will not be nearly as predictable. It is easier to win the upfront battles if the D doesn't know what is coming.

Agree - I think it makes it more difficult when you have a very limited QB and predictable scheme. Cameron and Miles didn't try and mask deficiencies at all, which was of course asinine.
Canada won't be a stubborn mule and do what he does regardless of the talent. He'll maximize it. That will definitely help those guys. I think that's his best attribute from everything I've seen/read.

I'd like to think I'm just doing my part in limiting the uneducated rhetoric that gets spewed on this board. If you're going to say outlandish things, be prepared to back it up.
That's all. I like you. No hard feelings from my end and I hope none on yours.
I'm perfectly fine with this. They played above average despite injuries. I was very impressed vs UF and livid with the playcalling, particularly in the redzone. But the OL came to play that day, and I was worried, because UF was healthier and the defense was very good. (elite, even)

I agree - that's why when you did I quickly admitted it as over the top rhetoric.

Of course not. It's a message board and you are good and interesting at message boarding.

We had an actual discussion about football cas, I'll take that over the 90% of slop here anyday.

sorry for implying you had amnesia.

My frustration was more general at these discussions falling into WELL BAMMERS say or WELL LSU FOLKS SAY. It just drives me nuts.
I'm happy to be called out for being over the top, though. It has to be done from time to time.

My wife might agree with you, so let's not give her anymore ammo and just agree that I don't.

mine too
she's back in school for post grad stuff, and therefore on the days she goes straight from work to a 6-9 class, my responsibilities increase. Last night was one of those nights, and after a day on the golf course and a few whiskeys with a buddy watching the all star game, the amnesia kicked in and I went full Jason Bourne on my chores.
I'm still adjusting to marriage

Just wait until you tack on some little mouths and brains on top of that.
Things spiral out of control very quickly
