Hat's off to Mizzou who swept us in the 3 major sports this year. frick you Jeremy Foley. That is all.

Looks like we are going to have 3 different SEC teams at #1 this week depending on the poll.
I'm sure LSU fans will take this the wrong way, but the perfect game poll is absolute trash at this point. Last week LSU loses a series and drops 1 spot. This week UF loses a series and drops 7 spots. How is USCe still ranked? RPI in the 50s, lost 3 series in a row, .500 in conference. How is Mizzou not ranked? RPI in the 30s, won 3/4 weekend series (only lost to #1 or #2 A&M), and 8-4 in conference.

Maybe they are a little less knee-jerky with their weekly rankings. Bad games and weird flukes happen in baseball, so not punishing a team for one bad week seems reasonable.
Florida also lost a midweek game and got blown out in 1 of their losses to Missouri.
USCe is probably ranked on name.
Missour is probably not ranked for the same reason USCe is.

Foley is the best AD on the planet, if you time warp back to 2006 and you don't care about sport facilities...

And I can agree with this, but ranking on name alone makes it a bad poll and at this point I think A&M and Vandy are ahead of LSU. The pollsters are splitting hairs at the top of the polls, but A&M and Vandy have better RPIs and don't have a weekend series loss yet. That should be enough put then 1/2 while LSU is at 3/4.

This weekends series loss was their second in SEC play. That would explain why UF would drop a little more.

You obviously don't know jack shite about college baseball if you are so upset about mid season rankings. It is cute seeing Aggies into baseball.

Not upset, but at this point in the season its all we have to go by. Its a discussion point just like polls in basketball.

I am sure A&M fans will take this the wrong way but after watching A&M this weekend, LSU and Vandy are better teams top to bottom
