Uh, it's April 6. Polls now are just subjective opinions.
Right now A&M, Vandy, Mizzou and LSU are the only SEC schools with SEC records above .500.
And right now 3 of those teams are all ranked in the Top 5 in all the polls.
Doesn't mean much when the season has 2 more months+ to play.....

Collegiate Baseball seems to have it right.
Not necessarily about A&M being #1 (though I like that part too) but they properly knocked TCU down four spots after they got their stuffing kicked in by my unranked alma mater UT-Arlington

LSU has some work to do in order to make it deep into post season,LSU fans have the luxury of being able to recongnize what it takes to be a NC caliber team.

Because its painfully obvious LSU isn't the #1 team in the nation as of April 6th.
I try to be civil in these threads, but anyone who takes an objective look can see A&M has done better and Vandy probably has too.

LSU should be somewhere between the 5-8 range atm.I have no problem with A&M being ranked higher because it will be settled on the field.The Tigers need to hit their stride when it matters most,tournament time.

You're right, as long as it clicks in the pstseason regular season doesn't matter. Go back and look at OSU and FSU about 7-9 years ago.
