Crazy to me that FSU and State have never won titles.
Especially FSU. As a kid it seemed like they, Miami and LSU were in the last 4 every season.

my brother in law pitched for FSU and played with the long time FSU coach (martin). martin is as old as dust now and has coached them a long, long time. he gets them to the world series often and has yet to win it. amazing. FSU was a baseball school before it was a football school. one would think they would force martin's retirement and go after some damn titles.

I didn't want people to get confused and think they had won a CWS, like SC, LSU, Mizzou, UGA or Vandy.

LSU went to four CWS ('86, '87, '89, '90) before winning their first title in their 5th try in '91. They won 5 CWS titles in the next 10 years.
We've missed making a Regional 3 times in the last 30 years ('88, '06 '07).
But we are currently in a mini-slump, having not won a CWS title since '09.
