The team is better with Chubb. Gurley should never start at UGA again.

Last week I think the majority of us thought that Gurley had only did this once, was caught, manned up and apologized.
Only idiots believed that.

Yep. And I seem to recall that a lot were praising his actions for apologizing...yet we did not know that they were false words.

But, he can thank UGA for not having a longer sentence given the fact that the NCAA considered a longer sentence because the violations occured over MULTIPLE YEARS.

I don't know. I am a little pissed. I bench him for Auburn and let him watch Chubb be the hero.

They call that cutting off your nose to spite your face.

Question for the board: do you view all of our players who have taken a little money on the side as selfish? Do you think they should be benched or suspended?

I hope people realizes what type of a man he is. He puts money in front of team.

Of course not, just the ones who are NFL caliber and will be making 6 figures in the near future as a result of their talent being showcased at a major SEC school.

GTFO with this. He's been dirt poor for years. I don't blame him one damn bit.

So we should suspend all of the good players?

We should, and do, suspend every player who we know violates the rules.

the stats would prove otherwise.

Your team does not get better by losing the best player in the country.

I'm sure you (like everyone else) put money in front of a lot of things in your life.

It's called character. Have it?

Why did we apply for reinstatement if he's been doing this way more than just one time (and we knew about it)? That honestly makes no sense and seems contradictory to how Richt usually handles things. I'm not saying these allegations are false, I just don't really understand the course of events in light of this information.

What about the players who don't get caught? Are they less selfish than Gurley?

I just don't agree with with the character assassination of a poor college kid who took a risk to make a little money on the side.

Chubb should start. He has earned this. Gurley is still a Dawg mistakes or not. We need to pull together..the team set a great example of this.
