I'm ready for him. Mauk was handed the job because he did get some time last year. I get it that it's not all Mauk's fault. The line sucks and doesn't give him time. The WR's suck and don't get separation. But Mauk has sucked today and made bad decisions too. At this point, what does it hurt to give Printz a few reps?

At least see what Printz has and can do in a real game situation. Definitely won't hurt anything the way this game is going

Yepp. This one is over. Pull all the starters. Get the young guys playing time and make a point to the starters.

Pinkel quit. Mauk has been fricking awful two weeks in a row.

Printz should start next week, but he won't.

I've been patient with Mauk all year. Line doesn't help him. WR's don't help him. But he's just not good.

So do we give Drew Lock a chance to start next season? Or do we go ahead and redshirt him and ride Mauk again?

Pinkel will ride Mauk to a losing season. It's just what he does.

There is not one legitimate reason he should still be playing.

No reason Printz shouldn't have played after the second interception of the second half. None at all.

I know most will disagree, but Printz is not the answer. He isn't much taller and less mobile, and the OL is bad.

Zanders, adds the running dimension, forces more in the box, which makes it easier for this crop of receivers to get open. Zanders speed also helps to mitigate the bad play of the OL.

Mauk just doesn't see the field well, is constantly rolling out prematurely trying to find someone. I'd at least want to see what Printz looks like before assuming "he's not the answer". Not saying Zanders couldn't also be an answer but with Lock coming next year it's possible both get usurped.

Mauk isn't the answer obviously. It doesn't matter if any of the others are because Pinkel will not pull His starter.

I wasn't trying to slight Printz's skill. But being less mobile would kill him with the current OL play.

I was only thinking Zanders speed helps mitigate the OL shortcomings until they get it figured out. because even with a week off, things look just as bad.

Mauk makes the OL look a lot worse than it is.
