But our defensive have up a million points to our offense in the spring game!

Doubt if it ends up this way.

Is this before or after Lawson lost his leg?

We should be above Ole Miss

I feel like we're pretty low on this and the OL list. Our DL was very solid last year.
But i guess that's what happens when you have a season like we had

Could have been #1 if not for the spring game performance.

Going out on a limb with this prediction.

Yeah, State's D-Line is much stronger than this. Not that concerned about preseason ranking though.

Looks about right to me...where would you place them?

I'm surprised Mizzou is so high after losing Kony Ealy and Michael Sam.

Behind Bama just because. After that, I can't think of anyone bringing back more or better talent on the D-Line. We actually have the full package this year, depth and talent, it's all there. I can see arguments for other teams as well, we will see how it plays out in the fall.

Somebody, maybe athlon, had us at #2 in the country. #6 up in here. I expect in between somewhere. I think chris jones might be the hardest player to block in the country this year. If he is healthy, the dl will always be decent.

This is the first year that I feel like we will actually have be great at rushing the passer, rather than just having huge, run-stuffing DL.

No it didn't. That is why it read "There’s a bit of an asterisk associated with Auburn’s ranking" in the first sentence

Auburn lost Dee Ford as a 1st round pick (that was it), but returns Carl Lawson, Elijah Daniels, Monty Adams, Gabe Wright, Angelo Blackson, Ben Bradley, Jeff Whitaker, LaDarius Owens and so forth... The defensive line also added Andrew Williams, DeVonte Lambert, Dontavius Russell and Auburn is currently waiting on Justin Thornton.
Auburn's defensive line is stacked.

So you have Lawson and Adams

Looks about right. LSU has unproven DTs. I still think we are top 3 at DE, though

quote:As of now, Carl Lawson isn't expected to miss any big games, so I don't see why it matters... He should be back by Kansas State, but really doesn't have to be back until roughly game 5 against LSU.
But even without Lawson, the Tigers are still extremely talented.
