I know I know. Y'all have one great season and now y'all are world beaters and everyone should bow down to y'all. How dare I say anything negative about Auburn!

Auburn, #2 on the list.

Auburn lost Dee Ford as a 1st round pick (that was it), but returns Carl Lawson, Elijah Daniels, Monty Adams, Gabe Wright, Angelo Blackson, Ben Bradley, Jeff Whitaker, LaDarius Owens and so forth... The defensive line also added Andrew Williams, DeVonte Lambert, Dontavius Russell and Auburn is currently waiting on Justin Thornton.

Auburn's defensive line is stacked.

Perhaps.

That said, was the rest of the defense THAT bad last year? Auburn finished #12 in overall defense, #10 in rushing defense in the SEC.

found you a three star starter for LSU in Quentin Thomas...not that it matters, but just to prove your statement incorrect

And return 95% of the meaningful players from that team? With the best offensive mind in the country? And add new starters over players that started last year and returned?

I'm a little surprised our DL is so low considering the experience we have, and even some talented guys, but the SEC stacked at DL. And I'm confident in ours. We'll see how it plays out.

pretty good, assuming Lawson regains his old form.

About right until we find out whether UK's offense can keep their defense off the field long enough that they can sustain their intensity for a whole game. Dupree and Za'Darius Smith are going to be a lot of fun to watch this season. Especially with some young help along the line.

Behind Bama just because. After that, I can't think of anyone bringing back more or better talent on the D-Line. We actually have the full package this year, depth and talent, it's all there. I can see arguments for other teams as well, we will see how it plays out in the fall.

I don't disagree with you. I think Mizzou is overrated, but the other 5 can all make arguments. I personally like our 2-deep better than MSU's and Auburns and Mizzous. I think with CJ(who may be the most underrated player in CFB) coming back, Nkemdiche's game is going to reach a whole new level. Those two along with Gross, Fadol, Haynes, DT, Hamilton, and Hooks will be a fun line to watch. Will be similar to our 08 line.

Auburn's DL >>>> LSU's DL

That is with or without Lawson.

Owens is vastly underrated on Auburn's D-line. He will be one of the better pass rushers in the SEC this year.
