How is that possible when we lost our entire defensive line from last year. Just below LSU and just above UGA. That can't be right y'all.

our DEs are young, lanky and quick. we'll see who steps up this fall. some names to watch are jordan washington & ryan brown. lord knows they have plenty of help up the middle.

autry was prett mediocre, and our best as a DE. chris jones rushed pretty well from the interior and will only be better this year. if he can collapse the pocket even more this year our DEs will benefit greatly.

I agree 100%

But CJ isn't a better interior pass rusher than RN
You don't have a better interior pass rusher than Gross.
Eulls is better than Woody
PJ and Byron are equal.
Now we are deeper.

So it looks like our DT's are comparable yes? That's I how feel. What makes ours a tad better is deeper DL with better DE's.
Y'all's DL is very good, and I don't feel strongly enough to just come out and say ours is just better, just answering someone saying that states is better than ours

Your linebackers are solid. That's for sure. Who are your tackles?

Outside of Chris Jones (who could possibly be the most talented and most difficult defensive end to block in the SEC this year) I don't know any of the players on State's defensive line.

Part of being a fan, bro. Until this article I'd never heard of Fadol Brown, and the only reason I knew about CJ is from his recruitment.. RN overshadows them the same way Jones does our guys.

that is pretty damn subjective, and both sides are going to say their guy is better. a lot of SEC fans probably side with Jones.

see jones, chris

as of now, yes. we have a bunch of young guys who have a chance to step up so that could definitely change. our depth last year was sufficient, if it's anything more than that, a young guy or two steps up at DE, and Jones keeps on progressing we should have a salty arse DL.

eta: not saying y'all won't either.

This can't be an answer guys. Everyone can say this. Especially people who recruit DL and y'all haven't.

The RN/CJ this is subjective.. I agree. I'm just saying one is not better than the other. Writers say that RN is better. The rant likes CJ because of one play against LSU and because he's the underdog of sort. All I'm saying is you can't say that your best interior DL is better than ours. And no, no one is a better interior pass rusher than Gross. How can you dispute that? Certainly no one after CJ. I gave you Eulls over Woody because Gross will not play more than 40 snaps even though a starter and Woody will get the rest. PJ certainly is not better than Bennett. I'm trying to be objective. I haven't said one of our DT's are better than yours. We have PROVEN depth and better DE's is why there is zero argument that your DL is better than ours. That is all I'm saying. Im not saying that one is better than the others like these unbiased writer did.

Athlon thinks CJ is a DE. Just like BR thinks RN is too. Don't get to wrapped up in that

And?

How is Auburn too high? If you don't know shite about Auburn, it's okay to admit it

ETA already found a 3 star in Quentin Thomas

i didn't say our's was better. my point was that while y'all have a little more in the way of proven, we have some unknowns that could swing us in either direction.
