Auburn has always been one of the dirtiest programs in the country. But they're taking it to a new level now.

.

Why the hate? They actually will do anything to win. I wish our team would quit playing nice and do the same fricking thing. Instead, we kick our guys out and they take them in and win with them and you never hear about them getting in trouble at Auburn. Just saying

Why have laws and prisons? Just let everyone do as they please and rob, rape, and pillage. Then we can all do the "same frickin' thing". It's called morals and ethics. Just saying.

Kicking off our starting 5* safety is "nice"? Pruitt is the opposite of nice, and a reason why we're seeing a lot of kids get run off. We are finally NOT playing nice.

Just a bunch of swine who enjoy wallowing in their own filth. I pay them no mind except for casual amusement and a brief reminder as to why I'm glad I went to UGA.

What prize do YOU get if UGA wins a championship? Just wonder what the great incentive is for a fan willing to throw away morals and ethics to win at all cost? I can see it from the angle of a coach or an Athletic Director who would profit by shady win at all costs mentality. Contract extensions, raises, etc..

But what do you get to make you okay with underhanded policies? Bragging rights? Chest thumping on the SECrant? A t-shirt or cap? Just wonder why it is so imperative for people like you that we cheat to win.

I recently read a comment asking why it is that these "trouble makers" are able to reform and stay out of trouble when they make it to another program, as if the problem lies with the UGA coaching.

My thought is that probably two things are happening: 1. by us kicking them off the team, they are getting a serious reality-check that sticks with them wherever they wind up at, and 2. other teams sweep stuff under the rug because they don't care about the kids playing for them so long as they play.

It sucks that these kids need to learn the hard way, but they will probably be better human beings for it. As a team, UGA doesn't need that kind of garbage distracting everyone from their goals.

I'm proud to be a UGA alum. I know our school and administration aren't perfect but I like being viewed as boy scouts when it comes to how we treat our students/players and the higher standards we have compared to other schools. I honestly wouldn't trade our ethical standards for a MNC.

Exactly. I'll never accept the MNC that was led by $cam Newton. Didn't happen. All that did was further tarnish AU's already dirty reputation. The entire country knows AU cheats, so do AU fans. It's inherent in their system 'cause they want to be Bama so bad.

Uhhh...happiness? Is that not enough?

I've been going to Athens since I was 3. I'm a UGA alum and some of the best years of my life were spent on campus. I often think back to games of the past and smile or feel good thinking about who I was with at the time, the excitement of being there, etc. Just because I wasn't on the team doesn't mean I can't be happy for their success.

Ok gramps. The reality though is that it did happen. You may try to delete it from your memory banks, but the record books show it as real and the crystal football in their football building sure as shite shows that it's real. Auburn will forever and always be the 2010 national champions regardless of whatever else went on. 50 years from now nobody is going to know what the hell "as the plains burn" means but they can sure know who were the champs in 2010.

I would, gladly. You talking SMU style shite that puts us on probation? Well no, not then. I don't want us to be negatively affected for years to come because of it. Would I trade us having a cam newton type situation where nothing happens but our "reputation" takes a hit for one? Youd' be a fool not to.

Who cares what idiots on an internet message board think? Who cares what the gump down the street thinks? If they say "UGA is a buncha cheaters!" I'll just smile and pop in my game tape of us winning a national title. That is the ultimate goal for any team, to win it all. As long as we aren't being put on major probation and fricking ourselves for potentially the next decade, I want us to do anything and everything to win it. If we start being more loose with the handouts so be it, everybody else does it anyway so why not us.

I may be old fashioned, but I still believe in a thing called honor. I wouldn't accept a championship that I cheated to win and I wouldn't want UGA to do it, either, regardless of what the record books or some gump fans may say. I don't care what public opinion is; I wouldn't want it.

We showed in 2012 that we had what it took to win it all without someone like Cam Newton. I'd rather go 30 years between each MNC if it meant that every one we won we earned 100%. I don't want anything given to us and I don't want to take it by cheating.

If you don't care, then that is your deal. I'm not like that. I think integrity and ethics are even more important than winning. Maybe that's something "losers" say, but then so be it. There are more important things in life than games, even if we get really worked up over them.

To each their own. I just want one of my teams in my lifetime to win a championship. I really don't care how it happens because in the long run, it doesn't really matter.

From the words in your post, it sounds like you have already received quite a bit of happiness since you were 3 and probably years more to come. You will still smile and remember the excitement 25 years from now even without a tainted national title. In reality, I have a hard time believing you need the ability to play a video of us winning a title on the sword fight that is the SECrant to be fulfilled. Just me, but winning a title by unethical means is not impressive. Do you play golf or participate in other competitive events with this mindset? Run a 10k and take a shortcut without getting caught and win. Cut a few strokes off your scorecard. Move your ball from OB to inbounds. Improve your lie. Foot wedge. None of that matters as long as you get that W....is that right?

Ok, punk. The reality is that you'd be better off if you moved your trailer to Wedowee, since your heart's there now. I have my opinion on AU and $cam, you can keep kissing their rears for the next 50 years if you like. Your prerogative. STFU about mine.

And the key phrase is "you never hear"
They have many closets in the athletic dept. Most are full of dirt.

Auburn is going to Auburn. It is kinda odd how they can take others rejects and make something out of them....

I read the comments Crow posted and felt a whole lot better about the situation. I think we will like this team come fall no bones about it.

True.

Yeah I'll remember games we won. But it's almost like trying to explain some technical process to someone who has never done it before. They won't really comprehend it unless they actually do it themselves. Sure I'll look back on some good games fondly, but my brain at this point can't even really comprehend what it would be like to win a natty. That's the ultimate goal, that's what I want. All of the awesome, outstanding games I've been to in person and witnessed the past 20 years would all combined pale in comparison to being there to see us win a national title.

Who said anything about the SECR? My happiness or unhappiness isn't tied to the internet. I want to win a title for my own personal enjoyment, not so I can talk crap to someone on here.

To each his own.

That would be cheating myself, cheating others, and that's something that I personally, myself, would never do in that setting. That's different than the school I cheer for doing something, that doesn't reflect on me personally.

I'm not on the tour, so I do that. I've never played golf in a real tournament, competition, for money, etc. I've been playing golf for about 15 years and every round I've ever played has been with either family members or just having fun with buddies. If I bring my ball up from being firmly indented into the earth in a patch of rough and set it up on the top of the grass blades, I don't really think that's a big deal.

None of that matters as long as you get that W....is that right?

Once again, you're using examples of ME personally doing things that are "unethical", compared to a separate entity doing things. What UGA does doesn't reflect on me or my character in any way, because I have nothing to do with it.
