Living in Colorado, I'll bet you are like a fish out of water. But regarding your views and articulation of them. We went through an integrity "incident" a couple of seasons ago which resulted in a bitterly divisive debate. If I could vote for you I would.

Good to see you maturing some. Make your parents proud and have respect for people more mature than you. And lose the "gramps". Just make you sound like a punk.

Me having a different opinion on an issue doesn't make me any more or less mature than someone else.

Ok gramps. The reality though is that it did happen. You may try to delete it from your memory banks, but the record books show it as real and the crystal football in their football building sure as shite shows that it's real. Auburn will forever and always be the 2010 national champions regardless of whatever else went on. 50 years from now nobody is going to know what the hell "as the plains burn" means but they can sure know who were the champs in 2010.

No, but disrespecting your elders and having no regard for morals and ethics shows total lack of character. CMR is a man of character and runs his football program in such a way that, when he does win a NC, people will respect that trophy much more than the one that AU bought. 50 years from now people won't care how AU won it, indeed. They also won't care THAT they won it. But for right now, I'm proud of the way that my university conducts it's football program and would be ashamed if I were an AU grad. You'll grow up to that realization one day. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

That's something somebody in their older years would say. Whatever you personally recognize or not, the actual reality of life is that it did happen.

-I respect my elders in real life that are deserving of it. Me typing a phrase on a message board that offended you doesn't speak to my character.
-How would you know if I have morals and ethics? You dont' know anything about me. Whether the football team does something or they don't (which, btw we DO pay players) doesnt' reflect on me, I'm not the one actually doing the legwork.

A title is a title. The record books don't reflect how nice the coach was that won it.

I guaran-damn-tee you auburn fans will remember it. Which is all that matters. Just like most people outside the deep south don't know or care that we won it in 80, but us UGA fans sure know it and appreciate it.

Me too. Them doing something that all our competitiors does as well won't make me think any less of them though either.

I love when people act like UGA is the beacon of morality in cfb. CMR is a good man, but UGA breaks rules just like everyone else.

Exactly this. It's the older folks mostly saying that because they've already seen one so they have that experience already. If you had some 50 and 60 year olds on here who had never witnessed winning a title before in their life, I betcha they'd be singing a slightly different tune.
And it was freakin' glorious....

FWIW... I think we prolly have a few low level boosters & "friends" of the program providing a few "incentives" here & there while the powers that be in the BM building kinda look the other way...

When it comes to cheating tho, we're driving 60 in a 55 while our competitors are "Superspeeders" doing 85 in a 55, so we benefit very little in the long run...
