Petrino making up for that shite he pulled with the Falcons! I'd say we're just about even. We may even owe him one!

Yep, there pretty much tells you all you need to know. I don't think there is any doubt that Richt concluded that our defense looked lost too often due to Grantham's overly complicated schemes.

Complicated can be good if everyone knows what they are doing.

But the goal is to confuse the offense, not the defense. We were the ones more confused with his schemes.

Where did the original rumblings of his scheme being too complicated come from? I've heard it several times in the last year and just blew it off as bullshite from the fans, but if its more than that can anyone provide more details or quotes early on?

It started when Shawn Williams said his Bengals playbook was shorter than his college playbook

What will the herd of chowder pups will be saying this time next season?

I don't care who you are you can't change direction, teach technique and install a new scheme in a single season.

Grantham's gone that's a given and positive for UGA.

In his aftermath Grantham has done more for UGA than any predecessor since Erk Russell.

We have meaningful discussions by the BOR and the AD on getting better facilities, hiring annalist and running a 21st century top shelf program.

Do you honestly think the UGA football program would be where it's heading if Mr. Martinez was still here moping on the sidelines?

No you don't unless your one of those<

If you mean that Grantham helped us hit rock bottom so we could get recovery, then you may be correct.

Still glad he's gone.

Actually as I recall, people used to say Martinez was just too smart and his defenses were too complicated.

Using his logic, jews should celebrate the life of adolph hitler. apparently he did more for them than the conception of compound interest

Do you think Israel would exist today in its present form if not for the rise of the Third Reich?

It's not a hard assumption to ascertain in hindsight now is it Chef...

But a positive outcome from an evil action does not justify said evil action.

In this case, hiring Grantham.
