Gus Malzahn:

From 3-9 a year ago to being currently 10-1, with a chance to be SEC West Champions going into the final week of the season. Biggest surprise of the 2013 season in the SEC and perhaps nationally.

#3 Rushing Offense
#103 Passing Offense
#16 Scoring Offense
#28 Scoring Defense

Gary Pinkel:

From 7-5 a year ago to being currently 9-1, in the driver's seat for an SEC East Championship. Missouri has won all of its games by at least 15 points. Only loss was in 2OT to #20 South Carolina.

#18 Rushing Offense
#39 Passing Offense
#12 Scoring Offense
#20 Scoring Defense

One is getting national COTY talk and the other isn't

There is a 99.998% chance Gus wins SEC COTY

Got to give it to Gus, although Pinkel has done a phenomenal job as well. Any other year he wins it.

Even.

Gus gets it if he beats Bama. Pinkel gets it if Gus doesn't beat Bama and Mizzou makes it to the SECCG.

How? If/when AU loses to Bama and Mizzou makes it to Atlanta in year 2 of the SEC, a year removed from Pinkel being on the hottest of hot seats, it'll be hard to not give it to Pinkel.

Gus has done a great job but come on, it aint a lock.

Have you watch a single CFB show or radio show?

Everyone is already giving it to Gus idk how it's hard for you to comprehend

Nah, just started watching this whole football thing a few weeks ago.

Football is always in the here and now, post AU loss and Mizzou locking up the SEC East I'd imagine there could be a changing of the tide.

It's no lock.

What if they both make it to Atlanta?

Auburn was a mess last year, and for a first year guy. Pretty impressive, IMO.

MIZ had a ton of injuries last season, but I'm still impressed by the job GP has done.

For me it would come down to who wins the game in ATL.

As it stands right now, I'd give it to Gus. But both teams are surprises not just in the SEC, but nationally.

no its not, but its wont necessarily be determined on who wins what games going further, as well

If that happens I am with you, goes with the winner. Both have done a remarkable job turning things around. I guess my leanings to Pinkel stems from how the dude was about labeled a lame duck coach at the beginning of the year, fired Yost, and has turned the team around not just record-wise but from a physicality stand point Mizzou is a world apart from last year.

Not to take away from Gus but I felt like the talent was there to begin with and it was Gene, Roof, and Loeffler who dragged them down.

Malzahn.

Pinkel created the hot mess he had last year, his own fault.
