Ole Miss and MSU Fans Have to Unite on This

Last night in Madison, Mississippi, my wife and I attended a fundraiser for our daughter's private school. It was one of those deals where parents sit around drinking wine and bid on things through a silent auction.
While most of the silent auction items were home decor/holiday themed stuff, but anything like this in the South is going to have a "sports table."
There was more Alabama and LSU stuff than MSU/Ole Miss. And before you think, a Nick Saban football would sell for more, blah, blah - this was decor and fan items like hats, shirts, chairs, etc.
In order for State or Ole Miss to ever make a move, we have got to get rid of this mentality. You that live in Mississippi know what I am talking about - you are as likely to find LSU, Alabama or Auburn stuff in stores as you are State or Ole Miss. And for you outsiders, a look at one of our major problems.

Which is horrible for recruiting. I say set up a tariff on merchandise from out-of-state colleges? I hope you guys fix this. Im all for Ole Miss and Miss State becoming bigger and more relevant.

MRA is the Southern Miss of Mississippi private schools.
If they were smart, they should have put up Ole Miss KD bids for auction. Would have made a fortune.
