Kevin Sumlin = Gene Chizik ?

This may have already been discussed, but does anyone think Kevin Sumlin will become just another Gene Chizik after Johnny Football leaves for the pros? Without JM they wouldn't be near as explosive, just like Cam Newton was to Auburn. With all the competition in the SEC, especially the west, I think A&M goes back to a mediocre team when Johnny leaves. Thoughts?

Kevin runs his own offense and it works...he is not like Gene at all.

Sumlin is an offensive coach. Chizik was a defensive coach who lost both the OC and stud QB.

Kevin Sumlin was one win away from a BCS game in 2011 at Houston, Gene Chizik had a terrible record in the big 12, and before you say "it's Iowa State", their current coach has actually taken them to bowl games the past couple years, this is a terrible comparison

They have tons in common, at least the last two years, relying on ONLY ONE player.
