Why is AU being singled out?

I've been to Tuscaloosa, Tallahassee, Baton Rouge, Gainesville, etc...and I'm sure this isn't limited to the Southeast.
I've seen players in brand new cars, living a well funded college lifestyle. It's no secret that recruits receive monetary compensation from their program of choice. I don't understand why AU has taken the brunt of discussion.
Every good team, one way or another, greases top recruits. If you think that players like Ricky-Seal-Jones are recruited solely on playtime and academics, you are blind. I guess be good or be good at it right?

Everyone drives 60 in a 55...some teams go 90.

Have you ever heard of the Red Elephant Club?

So if LSU doesn't get Seals-Jones it's because they got outbid?

Because somebody (HS or AU) did something really, really stupid with ER's transcript and got caught.

Part of me thinks the people of Indianapolis are just that clueless. They buy into their antiquated philosophies that the students playing the sports are really there to get an education, and it shell shocks them every time they hear a report like what is currently being reported from Auburn.

I like this analogy.

Auburn wants an excuse to not have to pay chizick his buyout. They probably reported themselves to the NCAA.

Remember all the rumors of Trooper Taylor giving away cash and cell phones to Trovon Reed and Robinson? I'm sure that story has been repeated all around the area.

Because Auburn seems to be sloppy at it. Buying a guy whose dad openly asked for cash? Changing grades of a kid who was recruited by numerous teams? Its like they just don't care.

If we were sloppy then the NCAA would've found something when they anally raped us over Cam

Alabama media and Newtongate. Also it isn't just Auburn being looked into by the NCAA, just Auburn that you hear about due to leaks at a certain office and as mentioned certain media that have an agenda.
UGA, MSU, OM, UA and AU are being looked at for recruiting in Memphis.
UGA in particular is not pleased with certain schools messing around in Georgia.
