Lol I don't think anyone should be fired. At times these guys call great plays. The Auburn game last year was a perfectly called game. Even MSU was a very good called game. Then there are head scratchers that leave you wondering do the coaches know there on personnel.

I didn't say fire anyone, I said hire an OC. You can stay, but we you are no longer Co-OC and Werner stays too and keeps to the QBs.

Would you rather a firefighter that always comes prepared or a firefighter that forgets the hose at the station 50% of the time? Maybe you can make an excuse for the firefighter, that forgot his hose, as your house burns.

I'll take the firefighter who shows up without a hose 50% of the time as long as he loves his community and is one of us :)

I'm fine with Freeze calling the plays, but Luke must go if we want to be successfull.

Find an administrative position for Luke and throw the bank at Hiller or someone who has had success coaching OLines in a spread offense.

Matt Luke is to our offensive line what Tyrone Nix was to our defense: relying solely on players' talent to get the job done, with no effective coaching. Once the talent dissipates, there's nothing left.

Because he has been loyal to the program and has some rather influential backers. And and administrative position does not mean you have to be a good recruiter.

Do you guys think Freeze would fire "me" if things continued in this direction?

We would find him a head coaching job. Maybe Arkansas St. still owes Freeze a favor.

Serious question though, has Hugh Freeze ever fired anyone?

With the family base message he has I couldn't see him firing anyone without some serious pressure from Bjork.

I think what will eventually cause Freeze to leave is Ole Miss fans. He seems to get in his feelings some when fans question things like his dumb goal line play calling. He even mentioned in the press conference he'd call those running plays again. If the guys executed it would have worked...Sorry Hugh but on the majority of plays if there is perfect execution the play works. What he fails to be able to do is say, you know we've tried this stupid run a million times and they never execute it. Maybe its something we just can't do.

Has Mark Richt ever fired anyone? He might be the other person in the SEC with the same principles, I would like to know if he has ever fired someone.

I mean, if Freeze wants to be a head coach, his first priority is his team. I always say he would be a great CEO type HC, but a CEO knows when to get rid of an underperforming employee, or knows when to bring in more talent to improve the organization.

If being questioned bothers Freeze so much, he is going to have a tough time if he truly wants to make Ole Miss elite, because teams that are elite are constantly under the microscope.
