I think with Bell and Laremy coming back we will look a hell of a lot better. Things went to shite when Bell left the line up.

Seriously doresrules, are you a Luke? You're talking about all these highly rated players he's gotten us, yet our offensive line still sucks. You take away the offensive lineman that kiffin recruited and needed no coaching, and our line sucks. Who else do we blame for it?

Our O lineman are charmin soft. There's an element to them that is difficult to quantify but something you can see. They are just frickin soft, like Matt Luke's fat marshmallow looking fat fricking face.

You act as if Kiffin would be the only coach those guys talked to and at no point the actual offensive line coach had any part in the recruitment of these guys.
The OL sucks at this point two more experienced guys are out, and three current starters are playing thru injuries.
Why aren't you asking for the LB coach to be fired? They are even worse.

The LB coach? Tom Allen left us to become DC. Wommack took over LB's. We hired that Batoon guy to do whatever he does since Wommack took over lb's, and we had an extra spot. What the hell are you even talking about? And Matt Luke is co-offensive coordinator title for some dumb reason. Let that sink in. Not only OL but co-OC. Too bad Butch Jones didn't poop his pants this time last year. Hard to recruit when you smell like poo.

I'm the only one defending Luke? The thread was started in defense of Luke. A smart guy actually looking at what he is having to work with at this point. How the hell do you develop a guy with a torn labrum. How can you develop a suspended LT? How do you develop a center whose knee is jacked up? How much development do you expect from a true freshman?
You guys are looking for someone to blame. We just got beat. It wasn't Luke fault we gave up 38 points. Luke didn't call those dumb zass plays to the weakest point of his OL.

Doresrules did you notice what the Florida offensive line coach did with what, 3 frosh on his line? Justin Bell and Aaron Morris are 5th year seniors, do you believe they have actually improved under Luke?

What does Tom Allen have to do with what we are talking about? The LBs suck this year yet no one is calling for Wommack head. We were the #1 scoring defense in the country last year and are far from it this year, yet once again no one is calling for Wommack head. The TE has destroyed our LBs the past two games yet no one is calling for wommack head. The CBs and Wommack this pass week talked about how they were playing too far off the ball on 3rd down after the Vandy game. The exact same thing happened in the Florida game but no one is calling for Jones or Wommack head. Why? Because no matter what the reason was we lost, some of you are hell bent on naming Luke as the fall guy. It makes no sense.

Lol I knew someone would say that. There is no need for anyone to be fired. If the line was healthy with Tunsil then of course there should be some serious discussion about his(my) job. But with what is actually able to play and the condition those guys are in with injuries its asking a mighty lot.

The difference is our defense has proven they can help us compete for and SEC title and our offensive line has not. I will admit they played above their heads against Bama and I'll give Luke credit for that, but the offensive line has been a weakness every single year.
