Hopefully the idea is that they're putting up temporary lights as they plan on doing a major renovation to the press box/east side (it needs it so badly), but I highly doubt it.

Major renovation as in tearing it down.

That is the plan.

I really hope we bulldoze the press box and most of the grandstand from ground level up to recreate the entry there. Hopefully we think longterm and not just a temporary fix.

The stadium looks like it's coming along. The speaker system should be a major improvement. They look a little out of place now. But if it provides a better sound, it will not be worth it and during the game I don't think they will be so noticeable and out of place.

When is the university landscaping team going to start on the green space across from the stadium? I think there is a major opportunity for this area to provide a great environment just outside the stadium. I hope they are able to have it completed by the first game. I know that area seems really convenient prior to the game and it is at the end of the Walk of Champions.

Well, the bell tower is not supposed to complete until Spring 2017. I doubt they would do any final landscaping until that work is completed.

Hedges and field level fencing would complete it for me.

I really wish the brick columns would wrap around the entire endzone though.

Yep. Paid for by Gertrude Ford. I hate state being the engineering school. Idk if we could ever catch up but it would be nice if it weren't so cut and dry. That and architecture. I hate we fund music and art so damn much.

Holy shite we're building a modern academic building. I don't even care what it looks like on the outside (I don't hate it fwiw).

The new STEM building is awesome, but when do they start and when is it projected to be finished.

Does this mean the west side of the walk of champions will be fenced off during the season?

I guess that's the price of progress?
