Good to hear

Also saw that the power lines around the stadium will come down when the new STEM building is going in

Stadium addition looks terrible on my feed. Looks like it isn't even part of the stadium.

Sound system is tons better. You can actually hear the refs after a penalty.

Neither does the south end zone.

On tv it looked great to be honest. Was anyone there that can give us a review of the new VHS?

It's a vast improvement from where they were. There are some kinks to work out but I thought it looked great. I sat near the top of student section and had a hard time hearing the sound system. Also, I think they need to include the down and distance on the two boards in the SEZ. Stopped looking at them for this reason. The grass looked amazing, love that we finally made the switch. Once most of the students left, we went and sat much lower and the sound system was much better. Concessions and bathroom lines in NEZ were pretty quick from what I saw. They do need to add a lot more garbage cans right outside the stadium and near the concessions as people's cups and trash were lying everywhere after the game, more than usual. Won't get the full atmosphere until next weekend but it should be fantastic!

They put the down and distance on the ribbon board which is way better than putting it on the video boards

I'm admittedly not a big fan of the expansion but thought from the inside it looked 1000x better than before. Just being completely bowled in makes a world of difference.

The sound system is pretty incredible too. Two gripes though:

1. We pump in the band music through the sound system at an obnoxious level. I always liked hearing their natural noise from a distance and think it's kinda bullshite.

2. On first downs when the announcer would say "first down Ole Miss" there was an echo. Was this intentional? Because I didn't notice an echo for any other shite. And if it is intentional it's dumb as frick.

Overall though it is so much better. 8/10. I still hate that they took away the huge concourse area above the sound endzone with the new sweets but that's a different story.

I noticed that and personally, I didn't like it. Got to the point where I stopped looking at video board bc of it. I want to know how everyone thought it looked tho from the other side of the stadium.

The echo was an added effect. A few times it was left on and the echo would happen on accident during other times the announcer talked. I didn't really like it. I hope they were just trying something out.

I remember the LSU game last year they used the beeping noise from vehicle in reverse when LSU had a penalty. Hated it. They never used that again.

I noticed there was no cannon blast on points. I guess the did away with that.

I bet the band was cooking in their dark uniforms. North endzone looked hot a hell during the game. From the South EZ you couldn't really hear the band. I liked the band on speakers from my spot. It wasn't consistent, though.

You cannot hear the band at all in the South Endzone unless they pipe it in.

My only gripe is that the sound system cut off the band mid fight song at one point to play an advertisement. They should never cut off the band mid song, especially during the fight song.

It was hot but it really wasn't as hot as I thought it would be in the NEZ, maybe because I was on the front row and actually stood the whole game
