I hope the sidelines are not that royal blue shown in the picture.

I was talking more about the space in between the proposed arch in front of the NEZ and whiskey alley. It was just some faculty parking, massive air conditioners, and that old house...I think they are redoing it.

Hopefully the blue on the sidelines was assuming we kept the turf. I think it was before the announcement of the natural field. Idk

They tore down the back of one of those buildings and the big air conditioner building is completely gone. And another building behind Hume is gone I think. Hopefully that will all be green space.

I'm excited about it. That will complete All American drive, it looked pretty skanky and neglected.

As for the bell tower, I think the archway in front of the stadium IS the bell tower. Not what I was imagining but it'll look good.

Will it go higher than what that picture shows with the beams?

This is probably as high as it'll go for now.

If true, all the renderings have been a little misleading....Maybe the seating will go higher than the beams.

It's amazing how far they deviated from the original plan.

Why even bowl it in and get the contractor and have the construction if you aren't doing it all the way. And plan on re upping in a few years.

Just make it happen this round. It's too late now obviously. But that gap is huge and the half way outside looks Busch league.

Just as laughable as the bleachers.

Nah it's better than the bleachers, but it's still shite.

I guess watching Trump tonight is bringing the dick out of me a little so I apologize but

Do you know why it's not symmetrical?
Do you know what is the worst part of our stadium right now?
Do you know how much what we are doing to our NEZ cost?
Do you realize that down the road we can make it symmetrical?
Do you think you know better than Bjork?

If you know all that then fine, everyone is entitled to their opinion. Everyone has different tastes. But when you say something like "It's amazing how far they deviated from the original plan", that tells me you don't know a lot about this given the "they" aren't here anymore (thank God). And if you understood why "they" devised that original plan, you'd realize why our current admistation made the decisions they made. That's a lot of stuff not to know to give such a strong opinion, but hey, it's a message board.

It looks like its not symmetrical so we can keep the crappy video board in place.

Do you know what is the worst part of our stadium right now?

Probably the shitty exterior of what will now be four different renovations in different obvious time periods.
Do you know how much what we are doing to our NEZ cost?

Hopefully drastically reducing the cost since the fans were kinda bamboozled into this renovation.
Do you realize that down the road we can make it symmetrical?

Then why didn't we just wait to get it right?
Do you think you know better than Bjork?
Most feel we knew better than Boone, making you a AD doesn't always mean your vision is what's best.

Everyone understands that there is more to it. Like the initial plans were unrealistic. I'm sure when it is done it will look good. There is potential to do more down the line. But people have the right to be subjective about what they invested in.

Looking at that picture, it is about the height of what the renderings show. I think that picture doesn't do it justice.
