So completely unlike the last 3 years. They have had someone up our collective asses watching everything for overy 3 years and have basically found nothing where it comes to our recruiting tactics. They need to kindly frick off.

Yeah I'm not sure what they think they'll find this year that they haven't found in the last 3. It's stupid and petty.

Need our due process.
At a certain point 3-4 years that's too long. Can't stay here forever.
Should have np just gone the auburn route and stone walled them. And take them to court.
This is not a speedy process. Dragging out for years and multiple recruiting cycles. We are receiving punishment and having to fight off negativity and the sentencing hasn't even been passed down.

This should have all been kept under wraps until it was finalized. And the. Let us take the hit, who leaked all of this? Is the NCAA this sloppy.

I would love to have Cam but I don't think it would be the end of the world if we didn't get him. We have a lot of depth at running back. Everything I've heard coming out of camp is that Eric Swinney is the best running back Ole Miss has had in a long time and D'Vaughn Pennamon is a special talent that will redshirt. I thought besides Hartsfield, Pennamon was the steal of the 2016 class. Remember when Mark Dodson was a cant miss player? This offense will do just fine with or without him but, God I hope we get him.

To add to this according to Neal and Chase Pennamon was getting some snaps with the first yesterday! So maybe I was wrong he might get to play this year. He is going to be special!

They also said CJ Hampton has lost a step. What is wrong with him? From what I hear he just isn't trying and is smoking way to much weed. If Anderson is as good as some people say by what game is he the starter? If you see it coming why not start him the Wofford game?

It depends on Zederick Woods more so than CJ. FS lines up the secondary so they are very against having a true freshman do it until he knows the defense back and forth and can read opposing offenses. Cody Prewitt lacked elite talent, but what made him a good college FS was his communication and ability to get defenders in the correct spots and coverages. Rover is much easier to learn and thats where hes playing right now, but Hartsfield has that locked up. It might be much later in the season that Anderson starts. Our dime package last year had Zed play what would be a second husky position, so I think on obvious passing downs when we have time to sub you could see Anderson on the field in a "starting" capacity, but I think he will be a rotational guy until he learns the defense better.

Yeah, if Anderson plays anywhere this year I think it will be at Rover with Hartfield. I think Zed Woods will be the starter at FS and you'll see him rotate with CJ.

Anderson will be starting by the end of the year. He is up there with Tony Connor type of talent.

I agree that Anderson has the skills and ability to play any position but him taking over FS comes down to him picking up the defense. The FS is the person you want helping the rest of the your secondary.

If he's better than Conner then I'm ducking impressed.

Conner is a three and done with a possible 1st round pick player if he didn't injure his knee last season. We're incredibly fortunate that he's still on the team.

Yeah that Bama game allows shows how big of a lose Conner was. Our defense would have been so different if he was healthy all year. Conner and Anderson in the secondary together will be scary good.

Conner and a full time Gates will help our defense a lot.

and Hartsfield is ahead of Anderson. Those young safeties are gonna be some kinda good. From a physical standpoint Street looks great too.

2018 Safeties

Senior- Zed Woods
RS Jr- Armani Linton
RS Jr- Montrell Custis
Junior- Deontay Anderson
Junior- Myles Hartsfield
RS So- Jerrian Street
RS So- Greg Eisworth

FS - Anderson/Linton/Eisworth
Rover - Jones/Woods
Huskie - Hartsfield (already 200+Lbs)/Custis/Streets
CB - Ordway/Harris/Rockette
CB - Jules/Hamilton/Richardson

That is not a bad secondary we have time to add at CB also you could move Custis, Jones or Hartsfield to CB if needed.

I rebelive Linton is going to develop in to an amazing player for us.
