Name the last time Trump has been stumped. Ever. I'll wait.

You really want to talk about money. Obama will be responsible for over 10 trillion of our debt once he leaves office. What does that tell you about his fiscal responsibility? Also he never had two wars to pay for as well. In fact how are things in the middle east due to his decisions?

Wow your uninformed.

Wisconsin isn't winner take all and Trump has closed the gap to just 4 points in the latest polls among GOP voters, he leads independents by 10 points over Cruz. Wisconsin is going to be a toss up.

With a simple, national consumption tax replacing the entire convoluted tax code, you would save businesses and individuals an estimated $400 million annually. You could also eliminate 95% of the current IRS employees... again, saving the nation lots of money.

This is not a fair tax.
They middle class does the majority of consuming so they would be taxed the most.
The rich can only spend so much money. What they don't spend, they will just save or invest thus avoiding the consumption tax.

Actually a large portion of the bill for Iraq and Afghanistan was passed down to Obama from Bush, so yes a good portion of the debt attributed to Obama is for 2 wars.

The 2009 spending level was the highest relative to GDP in 40 years, while the tax receipts were the lowest relative to GDP in 40 years. The next highest spending year was 1985 (22.8%), while the next lowest tax year was 2004 (16.1%) --

This is what was responsible. You can't spend without revenue.

Starting two land-wars over the span of a decade is responsible for the debt, not, uh, Obama's policies.

And let me state: I fricking hate Democrats just as much as I do Republicans, I hate Obama just as much as I did Bush.

You can't cut taxes and maintain a global defense force.

She might should be, but she won't.

Sandy Berger walked into the National Archives, stuffed classified documents in his underwear, and walked out the door. He then lied to federal agents about it. Completely ignoring the theft of classified documents, the act of lying to a federal agent is a felony that usually nets you 5 years. Sandy was allowed to plead to a misdemeanor and never did a day behind bars. If that had been Joe Airman or Sailor who took a few pictures to show his girlfriend, he'd have done 10 years.

She absolutely broke the law in spectacular fashion, but the rules are different when you breathe the ratified air she does.

What's not fair about it? Each person pays a 16% tax on everything they spend.

Poor Person spends $10,000/year and pays $1600 in taxes
Middle Class Person spends $30,000/year and pays $4800 in taxes.
Rich Person spends $1 million/year and pays $160,000 in taxes

The rich person paid 100x the amount in taxes as the poor person? How is that not fair?

There would also be deductions based off of how many children someone has, etc.... so a $500 annual deduction per child for someone who pays just $1600 per year in taxes would deduct a giant portion of their tax burden. Meanwhile a $500 deduction for each child for the person who is paying $160,000 per year in taxes would hardly reduce their tax burden at all.

It's the best of all worlds.

Cruz will win the state. The question is how many delegates does he secure.

It's becoming very likely that Cruz lands at least 30 of the 42 delegates.... possibly as many as 36. But that is likely his ceiling.

Trump/Kasich will likely split at least 6 delegates, and possibly as many as 12.

If I had to bet right now... Cruz walks away with 33 delegates in Wisconsin. Trump secures 9.

The real message here is that Trump is not a "sure thing" like all his supporters have been assuming. As the race has narrowed down to just 3 candidates, Trump is still having trouble even getting close to a 50% threshold in any state.

Cruz is going to win Wisconsin. Just as he's assured to win the upcoming states of Nebraska, South Dakota, and Montana.

Trump will do very well in the Northeast and the Mid-Atlantic.

It is all going to come down to 5 states: Indiana, New Mexico, California, Washington, and Oregon.

How those states end up voting is going to depend on turnout and whether or not Kasich has any money left by May/June to disrupt the race and help out Trump. If Kasich is out by then, and its just a 2-man race, there is a very good chance that Trump is unable to get to 1237 delegates.

Good analysis. I think Kasich is staying in. With those remaining states you've listed, I think he will do more harm to trump than Cruz (except Indiana)

Because the middle class person will spend almost 100% of their income on consumption while the millionaire may only spend 50%.
This will force an even greater economic divide. The millionaire will become infinitely richer because he is not getting taxed on the money he doesn't spend.
