No one's life will change whether it's Hillary or Donald. Obama was Bush III, the next president will continue the same policies.

He promised during both his campaigns that we would be out of Iraq and Afghanistan once he was elected.

The establishment Republicans are going to cause Clinton to win and ruin their own party. If Trump wasn't in the race, they would have ganged up against Cruz. They have no intention of giving the nomination to Cruz or Trump. The establishment is so greedy, corrupt, and out of touch that they are going to destroy the Republican Party. Politicians on both sides make me sick. Neither side give a damn about the people, they just want the power of office and ability to control their own special interests. I'm disgusted with the entire government.

I completely agree. They make tons of promises, then take office and just say screw the people. I'm so tired of only having garbage to vote for. You can't trust any of them.

People extremely overestimate what the president can actually do (like you're doing right now).

I get the process.. But still do they push for it like they say? My point is accountability is a lost art and it shouldn't be this way.. They all make false promises just to get in power

I'm sure they try like if Bernie somehow got elected (he won't) he would probably push for his free college education and it would fail miserably. Same could also be said about" Trump's wall".

If people focused more on politics then the politicians probably would try much harder to make what they promise happen but people don't really pay attention to politics so that'll never happen.

Probably won't But if they would've held the higher ups more responsible in the past we might not be here.. The whole western entitled nature would be diff imo.. Was my point and may be totally off base

People don't run for office because they are patriotic, they run because they have "special interests". The system is broken, and I'm not sure there is a way to fix it. Greed will always get in the way.
