They're big on pushing abstinence only sex ed which works out just great.

When sex Ed was first introduced into public schools, did teen pregnancies go up or down?

I'll answer for you. They went up. Why wasn't sex Ed scrapped immediately then, if that sort of data dooms a sex Ed program?

And that charitably allows that your point is even a major point of policy or that it has a large impact upon anything.

ETA: How many states have abstinence only education mandated?

The states that have it have increased teen motherhood, I know that.

the fact that they don't practice it doesn't mean abstinence doesn't work.

Teens can't wait for sex. I mean, a lot of them can. But it's uncool. So let's all talk about cool things rather than optimal things. Why is our country in the shitter again? I forget.

What? You don't like judgments of your sex life based upon an ideological stance? You just got shot with your own gun.

I don't really. I was demonstrating the absurdity of your judgment of my sex life based upon an ideological position.

I was making a joke. You seem as if you're arguing in favor of abstinence only sex ed. Abstinence is not having sex. So I made a joke that you don't like having sex. It all lines up quite cleanly.

It didn't have any humor. Other than that, excellent joke.

Not a universal right, but it seems to me you need a pretty compelling reason to not allow two people to marry based on that language.

It's a pointless battle for the right. If you are to take the plank of freedom, you have to champion the freedom of people to do stuff you find icky as long as it doesn't violate someone else's rights.

Eh, that's just my humble opinion.

The rest of the civilized world, who does actual sex Ed, has half the teen pregnancy rates that we do.
