They fill back up immediately. They are actually getting a but pinker than they were earlier.

Eta: Btw, thanks for helping with this. I appreciate it.

K. That's good then. Just watch them closely throughout the day.

Any time. I know it's scary. I'll be back from my run in like 45 minutes to an hour. I'll check back in with you on this topic.

I think your dog may have had a bad case of indigestion. My beagle has had stomach problems his entire life. Every few weeks he'll go all day without eating, and then suddenly he will be OK again. The vet just told us to give him a pepto bismol pill if he wouldn't eat.

Ok. I will. I won't leave him.

Thanks again for your help.

If he really is like your child, why the hell are you concerned with money over his safety? That's the mark of a shitty and neglectful parent. Get your act together and go already, or at least admit at the end of the day, it really is just an animal.

Yeah cause parents rush their children to the emergency room anytime they sneeze.

My parents would only take me in if it was a last resort.

Yeah douchebag. Most kids have insurance. The parents who run their kids to the emergency room every time their temp is 99 degrees are the reason our healthcare costs are so high.

Why bring him to an emergency vet and run up a $300 minimum bill when I can take him to his vet, who has his records and knows him for less than $100?

Mine too. I got dunked in a tub full of ice water when I was running a really high fever as a kid in order to avoid an ER visit where they would have just done the same exact thing...for $1,000.

I broke my toe playing lacrosse and my parents would not believe me. I walked around on it for a week. Just a toe, but damn.

When I was working in the high school, I had an Asian football player with a fractured tibia.

His dad didn't believe in Doctors and refused to take him. It was pitiful.

The next season, he fractured his ulna. I had to make him a cast so that it could heal and it was stabilized so that he wasn't in so much pain.

Then I had some parents that would bring them to the ER for a fricking sprained ankle. ER doc would tell them to sit out 4 weeks, which is absurd, but I would make them do it because it was "doctors orders".

I walked myself to the ER once after my dad dropped me off at day care.

X-Rays showed two fractures in my right wrist.

I was seven years old.

Dad felt terrible.

Poor Hugo. Were your parents members of the Korowai tribe? Maybe they were saving you to enjoy with fava beans and nice chianti.

Haha, it wasn't as bad as it sounds.

I fell off the back of my dad's truck (parked in the driveway) goofing off that morning.

I told him I needed my arm checked out but it was one of those, "let's wait and see if it's still hurting that much in the afternoon."

The day care was attached to the hospital and my grandmother worked in personnel there at the time so it wasn't too hard for me to escape to the ER.

Yeah. I'm watching him now. He is sleeping.

Do you think he will be ok until Monday if he stays like this and doesn't get worse?
