why you hating Bro?

That's fine, we believe two different things and neither of us has proof. I'm not debating that issue. It just bothers me that as a non christian believer, I get challenged from my family, society, peers, etc when/if they find out that I don't believe as they do. While Christians talk about being persecuted and ridiculed in this country for their beliefs when in my experience it couldn't be farther from the truth.

Nobody challenged you. You made it a point to make a dick out of yourself.

The only thing worse than a believer trying to jam their beliefs down your throat is a non believer trying to discard it.

Just let it go man. You dont believe, we get it. Its cool.

You trashed and mocked my belief.....unprovoked.

Makes your whole statement false.

Sarge. I wasn't trashing your belief. Apologies if it came across that way. I used to be that guy, due to he shite I had to put up with in college when I stopped going to church and bible study. Which as you can imagine at a&m is a big fricking deal.

What I was expressing frustration about is Christians in the U.S. claiming to be persecuted. That's it.

I don't either and I honestly don't know how anyone south of the Mason-Dixon Line pulls it off from April to October without ending up with an acne riddled, smeared mess.

Damnit. Lol.

Not sure if you're serious... But Yes, lots. I was in a group called F.A.(not going to list it out but if you were in student govt you'd know it) my freshman year, did a bible study and went to church with a lot of them, did YL work week in CO and all that shite. Made the mistake of expressing my doubts to someone I thought I could confide in who subsequently told everybody. Lost nearly all my "friends" in a matter of months my junior year.

I will only ever be a jackass and mean it to mizz_cou and stonehog. Maybe caftan if she's being especially persnickety. Any ag on ag violence is just interwebs message board joking around.

In sincerely, sucks you went through that. The church should be in a position to still love you despite beliefs and doubt and not ostracize. One of our failures, similar to how they've handled homosexuality over the last 10 years. Hopefully that tide is changing with people who want to love and accept those people and let the gospel change people, not condemnation and judgement.

Were you involved with Grace or Central Baptist while there?

Well sorry you went through that. I hope you have better experiences with believers later on in life. Grace and love win over rules, legalism, and church attendance.

But your 5 were still super gay.
