God Dangit, I am fan of Loftin because he got us an athletic director with a backbone who left his school in good condition before he left. He actually comes to sporting events to support the school it does not looks like a chore to him he actually takes joy in it. Tim Wolfe can go Jayhawk himself. I would say the F word, but that is too nice for him

It sucks.

Mizzou is the reason they suck at things. It's Mizzou's fault. Mizzou finds the most incredible ways to shoot themselves in the foot.

Liberals would rather kill babies than actually educate.

Damn shame.

Somebody is downvoting every post that says something negative about Planned Parenthood.

There are multiple departments in full rebellion against Loftin, including the Medical school, English department, especially the graduate programs.

Why?

There's nothing specific in the letter there. What's going on with these departments and schools?

ETA: Disregard, saw you explained elsewhere.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I'm guessing Mizzu doesn't have a research tier that is about to break through to a substantially higher level of indirect funding amounts and so forth.

Not sure what the endowment is there. I suspect it's not super impressive.

It takes money to make money and it takes money to have the ability to get the right people and infrastructure to climb up the rankings. I suspect he's boosting enrollment because the gov is handing out student loans like candy and it's a sure way to dramatically increase revenue for the university.

ETA: I do think this is relevant because if there's such turmoil at an SEC institution, there could be effects in the athletic program and if he does get fired, it almost certainly will affect the athletic department. Sounds like Mizzu is a large collection of SJW's and whiners. If that's the case then get them out of the SEC immediately. We don't need a bunch of BDS protests at halftime or watch the drama club put on skits at halftime or whatever.

He will always have a job waiting at A&M.

Surprised he doesn't have a statue yet.

Look how damn stupid that chart is. Capitalism is just right beside Authoritarianism. Just because someone made a chart(likely a raging liberal) doesn't make it right.

You're an idiot. Yeh I said it, an idiot. However you are intitled to your opinion.

Lofton crossed a line he shouldn't have crossed. He is basically a university official and should have remained neutral in that capacity. You can speak your belief but be ready for.the consequences.

As far as the diatribe, there is more to PP than abotions. I also hardly doubt that these "unwilling" participants have guns held to their heads to go into PP to have abortions performed as your crap more or less stated.

I don't consider myself liberal eiher.

Loftin gave me my diploma. He is one of the most sincere, genuine faculty members I met on campus. Beyond just the SEC move for A&M, he's just a good dude.

Shame on those forcing him out. Terrible.

Lots of people are using the Planned Parenthood issue as the reason....when in reality, this is about the academic side. Quite a few departments are very upset about Loftin's decisions...and how performance and rankings have decreased under his tenure.

What specific decisions has he made that have upset the faculty?

Also: College ranking is so fricking stupid its not even funny. They use the size of the rec center on campus as criteria, and academics are actually pretty low on the consideration. Speaking about the USN&WR rankings.

Can't tell if you're serious. Your diagram has the US Republican Party just shy of Adolf Hitler.
The Fascists were only considered "conservative" because of their strong opposition to communism (the extreme left) and the strong emphasis on nationalism rather than internationalism. Their very name is an abbreviation for National Socialism. Economically they favored policies of government control that are leftist by even US Democrat standards.

Totalitarianism is the opposite of authoritarianism? What the fricking frick? Do you know what words mean?

Nice how you have democrats as moderate and republicans as far right.

How exactly was Nazi Germany about individual rights? Or lower taxes? Or capitalism? What the frick are you smoking you dumb fricking retard. This is literally the fricking dumbest thing that has ever been on this forum, and that's saying a lot. You need to go back and re-revaluate your understanding of the english language and western civilization, because it looks like you had a fricking stroke and tried to color a dickbutt picture with a crayon held between your teeth.

interesting. Loftin's a pretty liberal dude, but i totally support his stance here. he's a good man.

the blind support of planned parenthood by SJWs and the left is the one stance that i just can't put myself in other's shoes to understand our differences.

You're all fricking idiots if you think Hitler, Mao, Stalin, Trump, Clinton were/are about ideology.

Ideology is for followers. The pursuit of Power is all that matters to leaders.
