UM Curators closed door meeting to discuss Loftin's future

quote:

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) _ More than 2,000 petitions have been delivered to the leader of the University of Missouri’s Columbia campus demanding the reversal of a decision that threatens a Planned Parenthood clinic’s ability to continue performing medically induced abortions.

Planned Parenthood says students, faculty and a group called MU for PP met with Chancellor R. Bowen Loftin on Tuesday. They’re demanding the full instatement of all Planned Parenthood training contracts and so-called “refer and follow” privileges.

The privileges are significant because they’d been granted to a Planned Parenthood doctor and played a role in its Columbia clinic obtaining a license to begin offering abortions in August. State law requires physicians or centers providing abortions to have certain agreements with local hospitals for patient care.

So, here is what is going down at Mizzou.

21 months ago Mizzou hired Texas A&M's former football loving president, R. Bowen Loftin, to be the new Chancellor at Mizzou. This was heralded as a HUGE deal because Chancellor Loftin not only supports education but also sports - especially football. R. Bowen Loftin was responsible for Texas A&M's move from the Big 12 to the SEC.

However, during his very short time at Mizzou, R. Bowen Loftin made a fateful decision that threatens a Planned Parenthood clinic’s ability to continue performing medically induced abortions.

The liberal SJWs fricking went berserk and have crusaded against Loftin since that decision. It has now culminated with Mizzou's system President Tim Wolfe calling for Loftin to be fired, a UM Curators meeting to discuss Loftin's future, and a vote of no confidence from the entire English Department.

Mark my words: Mizzou will never win a football national championship because Mizzou is an extremely liberal school...and liberals are weak. They have no backbone.

Or perhaps they do have backbone. They want to force the death of babies onto people who believe it's fricking barbaric as if more conservative people are the problem. They want to riot in the streets and lynch a great man for putting an end to campus sanctioned abortions.

Loftin took a fricking stand. He had balls. And now he's going to be fired for putting an end to the murder of babies on Mizzou's campus.

We're going to fire the one Chancellor who would support Mizzou sports for a long time and attempt to set up Mizzou as contenders all because we care more about killing fricking babies.

That's the truth.

If you're liberal and disagree...I don't give a frick.

Damn... I hate SJW's.

Well... At least UF doesn't have to worry about Mizzou now.

Not true. Revoking a single doctors refer and monitor (or whatever it is called) privilege at the University hospital.

That fiasco aside...There are multiple departments in full rebellion against Loftin, including the Medical school, English department, especially the graduate programs.

Sounds like the Missouri liberals have made their own 100-year decision.

This is a whole lot more about the academics not liking his direction and less about the Planned Parenthood aspect. That's just a distraction.

How fricking stupid and typical, the english department spending their time on trying to remove a leader over planned parenthood instead of figuring out a way to make their academic lives meaningful.

I have been planning to email him for over a year now. This motivated me to finally do it before he doesn't have a publicly available email address.

Lots of people are using the Planned Parenthood issue as the reason....when in reality, this is about the academic side. Quite a few departments are very upset about Loftin's decisions...and how performance and rankings have decreased under his tenure.

This has been building for almost a year now...but sports fans don't really see that.

Abortion is the holy sacrament of the left. It's their religion. They take that shite seriously.
