Well, depending on the severity of the man's asthma condition, asphyxiation may be impossible to ignore. Yes, the type of drug(s) he was using may provide an alternate cause of death but, from what we're seeing so far, it surely seems his asthma is culpable.

Unless he was asphyxiating for two hours inside a hospital, I can assure you no one has to hope for anything.
He died two fricking hours later.

It's beyond me how people just gloss over this part of the story.

Well, that's because obviously the police wanted to kill him.

It was Greg Davis' fault. He and the queers running Desoto county needed this as a false flag

His family was informed of his death two hours later. I'm not certain his actual time of death has been released. And I'm not certain that's going to remove asphyxia as a contributing cause to his death either.

That's entirely possible. Hospital staff aren't miracle workers. There isn't much they could do for someone whose lungs are extremely inflamed and filling with mucus.
My prediction is that an examination will determine that the man set his course towards death by using drugs and alcohol which then caused the severe asthma episode. The arrest and restraint by the police officers should only be listed as a footnote in the incident, not the cause of his death.

What is it with Mizzou and conspiracy theories?
He took what he thought was LSD. He went crazy. He died.
It's really that simple.
I can let you borrow a razor if you need to. It's an Occam. Got it on sale at Target.

I don't get why people can't grasp the concept of if you have asthma don't take drugs that will likely exacerbate your condition to the point of a full blown attack. Especially one that is known to alter consciousness.
It's really unfortunate that someone is likely burying their child. But at some point personal responsibility when you know you have a medical condition needs to come into play as well.

There's no conspiracy theory. The position of the victim at the time his breathing or pulse first drops is the important point for the investigation. Not when all life-saving efforts have ceased. You're assuming a whole shitload of things you simply don't know.

I totally agree. And police, when arresting a known asthmatic who has used drugs, should never ever ever ever use a hogtie.

He was a dad too as I recall. It's a terrible situation but he is the one who is ultimately responsible and I'm not one to defend LEOs.

I can assure you, I know more about the situation than you.
This happened in my backyard so to speak.

Awesome. Now you just need to brush up on your restraint asphyxia knowledge and you'll be good to go.

I'll just do what you did and read 50 Shades of Grey and a David Carradine biography.

I feel bad for the kids and wife, but I have not one ounce of sympathy for this dude. If someone on my street was running out on a bad trip and threatened the safety of myself or my family, I would be very upset if the police didn't restrain them immediately upon arriving on scene. I don't give a shite about calming the dude down so he doesn't hurt himself. You took a mind altering drug knowing full well the possible consequences. I'd rather the police focus on protecting the safety of the people the drug user's dumb arse might hurt than making sure he is calm and safely tripping out.

When you're hog tied is your head and neck restrained from turning as well?
