It certainly has great usefulness, but your posts are terribly misleading and, given that I suspect you know this, irresponsible.

Nice link, I'm sure cancer.gov is really going to blow the doors open on a cheap and readily availabe cure for cancer.

Yes, but not doctors. We arent ignoring miracle cures for this big payday. We throw ourselves at people trying to get them to live healthy, and BILLIONS is spent every year researching alternative treatments. Its why claims of naturopath are so easy to dismiss most of the time, because real science has a verdict on the issue thanks to massive research on the topic.

As I said earlier, there is no arguing against these conspiracy theories. If you want to believe that tens of thousands of people are in on a conspiracy to keep a cancer cure under wraps, I cant change your mind.

1). If there was an actual effective cure for cancer, how much could you charge for it?
2). How much would an insurance company pay for it?
3). Why would the government not approve it?

The same goes for diabetes, high cholesterol, obesity, etc. Doctors get very little benefit from overprescribing drugs despite what people think and know that the best option is lifestyle change if possible.

From what I gather, the opposite is actually true.
Doctors aren't shoving pills down patients' throats - the patients are DEMANDING pills.
My wife gets yelled at daily for telling her patients that a change of diet and exercise routine would do wonders for them. She's been told several times to "shut up and give me my medicine to make me feel better".
