I've noticed that there's really no value in improving their own community -- they seem to shift toward blaming the society instead.
Conversely if you look at Asian (or even Hispanic) community they seem to have cracked the code with little to no trouble whatsoever.
Blacks just can't seem to catch a break, though.
They disparage those that actually try to assimilate, naming them "Uncle Tom's" and mock those that try to get an education. I don't think I've ever seen a group (the high school I went to was majority black) who has such a disregard for school.

Hmmm... I guess I'm the anti-Ole Miss Mississippian. I enjoyed the video and don't get what all you honkies are whining about.
As for Ferguson, wrap your head around this: 65% of Ferguson is black. Vicksburg MS is 59% black. Ferguson has a 94% white police force. Think about that for a minute. How the hell does that happen in 2014? Vicksburg has... hell, I dunno, because it just isn't important any more... roughly 50/50 black/white. The Vicksburg Chief of Police is black, as was his predecessor. Ferguson has never had a black mayor. Vicksburg's current mayor, and the one before that and the one before that... black. But we're the racists. frickin' Yankees making us all look bad, if you ask me. Well... them, and Ole Miss.

I am gonna say it, "hey black people," name me the economy, society, culture that you would like the US to model. If you can really find one that works elsewhere and would work here, let me know. Cite research and real life examples. I will wait....

This isn't rocket science. But by all means, white on black racism is a much easier explanation - it helps some explain away issues that would take self-reflection to sort through.

We can't tell how it happened unless we have access to the racial make up of all the qualified applicants for police jobs in Ferguson.
I don't know, but you think maybe there just haven't been many qualified blacks apply for the jobs?
Just throwing that out as a possibility...
