I'll give them the War on Drugs explanation in some areas of crime/incarceration, as far as the "system" goes. Other than that, it's all scapegoat bullshite.

Would you like to imagine a "Hey, Black People" video, by chance, and then say this with a straight face?

C'mon. Ferguson aside, we're being flooded with videos of white cops killing or beating the crap out of black citizens (and their damn dogs, fer crying out loud) for little or no reason. Black folks (and white folks w/o a stick up their arse) have a reason to be upset.

And for some reason we're never flooded with black on white hate crimes. You have to scour the internet to find those. It's all agenda based. With that said, white people are beaten and killed by cops quite often, it just never makes the news.

It is almost never for no reason and it's not the prevalent -- the only difference is the media coverage.

Imagine what the Knockout Game would look like if it were whites seeking black victims. There would be documentaries, international calls for a change of the system, celebrities making Twitter blurbs.

You can take a "for instance": Michael Brown coverage vs. Dillon Taylor? Do you even know who that is?

Michael Brown vs. Jose Luis Arambula? Know who he is?

I'll wager you don't.

I don't know, but you think maybe there haven't been that many qualified blacks apply for the jobs?

Quoting a previous poster, "this isn't rocket science". How many smart patrolmen do you know? For me the answer is just about zero. Let's say a HS diploma is required... are you suggesting Vicksburg MS has more "qualified" black applicants than Ferguson? I love Vicksburg, but this is a really dumb town on average.

I didn't mean to pick on Ferguson, really, but this flipped script cracks me up. This board loves to complain about police brutality, no-knock searches, unjustified shootings, etc. What race do you think those victims are, by and large? They damn sure aren't white.

Jose was a drug dealer that BP shot. No one cares because he's border trash.

I did know who Dillon Taylor was. White kid shot by 5-0. No gun. Police said he was armed and dangerous and wouldn't listen to orders. Turns out he had headphones in.

Dillon Taylor

White unarmed man shot and killed by an "other than white" police officer.

Jose Luis Arambula

Unarmed man shot and killed by Border Patrol because they "thought he had a gun" and he was suspected of smuggling drugs.

Zero national news coverage.

24-hour CNN coverage, national outrage, etc. A small number of young stupid black males is no reason to condemn or hunt down the entire race. I know you don't mean that it does, but that's how black folks see it.

You'd win that one, for sure. I had not heard of either one. Those are both disturbing stories. I honestly believe if Ferguson had a more representative police force that Michael Brown would be much less of a story.

Great Society and welfare. The whole point of civil rights in our country is to afford them to same opportunity as everyone else. Each individual civil liberty is a piece of the bigger puzzle - upward mobility, occupational freedom, the overall ability to improve one's own conditions. If you grant entitlement, you rob them of this. Those capitalistic concepts don't work if you don't have motivation and innovation. This is especially true on the poor class. That's why middle class blacks since the CRM have thrived and advanced at a similar rate to white people. It's not a white or black issue. Nothing about being black makes them that way. If you pay someone to not work and have children out of wedlock, thats what theyll do. Add in decades of victimization propaganda, and cultural destruction is complete. What do we have to show for ignoring basic capitalistic concepts and granting entitlement with freedom to the poor class - a largely illiterate unintelligible minority criminal class with no concept of nuclear family commiting most of the violence in this country and making large parts of every city unsafe. The Romans had their barbarian class, so do we.

Police profiling is not a "Hey, White People" type of thing.

It's a "Hey, Police."

They use "White" to replace "Society", which is one of the biggest problems I've had for a while. If they didn't start it off this way, I think we could actually acknowledge some things about our judicial system that may be adversely affecting minorities and whites alike.

It'd pose an interesting dilemma if the police officer were black, but it was going to be a story no matter what. A black youth was killed by a white police officer and people came out of the woodwork to exploit it.

Great point.

Eta: Al Sharpton don't make no money off of no white people's problems.
