Scrimmage news

Offense still sucks. Defense still doesn't suck.

Thx brownmajic...Looks like the DE's are definitely bigger this year. What are they feeding Harris?

So am I the only one who has noticed Berk playing well at QB? Not that he will be the starter, but he is the only one who has consistently completing over 50% and without INT's.

Berk is the 4th QB so is playing primarily against RS Freshmen & Walk-ons. Zanders is the one that's impressed the most, but then again most of his success has been against the same group.
None have looked good against 1's or 2's from the defense.

@BKSportsTalk: Interesting development in stretch lines: Taylor Chappell is at RG, Malik Cuellar at LT. Been a lot of shuffling w/ Connor McGovern injured.

@DavidCMorrison: Anthony Sherrils back practicing. Nate Brown back in a limited capacity.

@DavidCMorrison: Ish Witter's back at practice today after missing Saturday's scrimmage.

Had a half scrimmage today. Defense still won but looks like the O had a better showing. Mauk hit Moore for a 50 yard TD on a go route and Leftwich for a 12 yard TD on a fade. Had a pick but Reese tipped a catchable ball into the air. Didn't see any running stats. Prints led a long drive against the #1 defense late in the scrimmage.

Yeah it sure did. Apparently our game will be on replay tomorrow morning (in full).

Good. They said we won't see much of the starters in the second half so those first minutes were even more important.

They flipped back and forth a couple times, then stayed with Mizzou. Defense looked good, especially the 1s. Offense not so much. Chemistry seems to be a work in progress, and timing has to improve. QB play looks improved (Mauk and others as well) but receivers have to get better.

To end on a positive - defense looks good. The DEs were making plays, LBs and safeties look good too.

I just started watching it. Maybe 1 series on each side and now the Bama game. Complete bullshite. I agree. I'm done watching.

Sounds to me like there's nothing to watch anyways. Anyone seen any stats for the game?

I kept watching and I thought Zanders looked pretty good, granted against deep backups.
