It's easier to be on point on defense at this time of year.

Rhythm and timing isn't as important on that side of the ball.

Its old news now but was anyone else concerned that Mauk, with two years under his belt with Pat Ivey, played last year at 20% body fat? 20% body fat is average for men who don't exercise.

Do they not want QB's in the weight room or exercising their first two years or what? But really, what was he doing that whole time?

I hope he really puts his head down these last two years.

Always noticed that Mauk looked like a video game hero.

He parties (or partied) heavy, eat's a lot of frozen pizza.

I've heard him called Fratty Mauk.

I agree but in all fairness to Mauk, all the QB's are throwing wobbly passes. Is it a lack of coaching, or small hands or something else?

I was hoping a redshirt year would make Zanders a threat to earn some time, but his throws aren't sharp either. I just hope MM really gets after it this summer and makes great strides.

Like this

@DavidCMorrison: Raymond Wingo has donned the white jersey and joined the slot receivers today. Unclear in the move is permanent.

McGovern done for the spring with a knee. Not serious, just precautionary

That's good to hear. That's just the Cards fan in me. Anytime they say it's nothing, the player ends up on the IR with season ending surgery.

Brad McNulty and Cortland Browning were back full-speed today. Anthony Sherrils said he's still working with the 1s at safety.

I'm gonna bet I become a Sherrils fan real quick. Well, already am really.

Gary Pinkel says Raymond Wingo's move to WR is not necessarily permanent. Getting a look there because he was an offensive playmaker in HS.

My bet is he ends up there.

Sherrills is gonna be a player. Can really run and he likes to hit.

Pretty impressive for Hatley to push Augusta like that. Something tells me we'll be just fine up front.

Makes me think big Josh is a little too fat and the coaches are sending a message.

Haha, could be but I prefer to look at the positive. Josh can play. I've seen him do it.

Wondering if anyone is pleasantly surprising the staff? I haven't heard of any shifts in the depth charts that I can think of other than Hatley and I guess Sherrils. He won't jump to the 1's, but wondering how Lee is looking.
