I will admit between our returning D, Mauk dropping weight, the offensive line and Hansborough this team has my expectations very high. I love that we still don't get the national respect as it makes our team work and not take anything for granted. As a zou fan I've learned not to get expectations up, but it's tough with what we have returning. I think our D has a chance to be filthy!

I think Walters tore his ACL.

Jump, he tore it from what he tweeted. Sad to see it happen, I was looking forward to watching him get some reps this season. So now both he and Ross have torn ACL's this spring, and Brown sprained his MCL.

Big opportunity for Abbington, Stewart, and Doherty to compete with Witter for the 2 and 3 RB spots.

Damn, that sucks for him. Feel for the kid. Hopefully he can recover fully and come back strong next year with Strong.

According to Morrison Prinz has looked real sharp so far.
Also Berk is now 4th in the stretch lines behind Zanders.
Be interesting to see the movement tomorrow. V

Official word from MU is still a knee sprain for Trevon Walters. He's getting an MRI tonight.

Mauk said not too long ago that these unproven receivers are more athletic than any group since he's been here! Bold statement!

Shuffling the shite out of the OL. McGovern at Tackle. Chappel at guard. Crawford starting.

RH has 96 yards on 6 carries. Busted a 65 yard TD against the #2 defense.

Shades of the A&M game.

Eddie Printz getting some work with the 1 offense against the 1 defense, makes a nice throw on the run to Wesley Leftwich.

Mauk's thrown a pick at today's scrimmage, and Printz has thrown two. Clear proof that Marvin Zanders should start this year. #overreaction

Marvin Zanders throws the offense's fourth interception of the day. Shaun Rupert with the diving interception.

Secondary is gonna be good. The offense is putrid. But it's always putrid in spring right?

Confirmed ACL tear for Walters. Witter had negative rushing yards. No QB over 50% completion percentage. They all had at least 1 INT.

No, I was just following on Twitter.

Offense still struggling mightily, but again we have a good defense.

Its old news now but was anyone else concerned that Mauk, with two years under his belt with Pat Ivey, played last year at 20% body fat? 20% body fat is average for men who don't exercise.

Do they not want QB's in the weight room or exercising their first two years or what? But really, what was he doing that whole time?

I hope he really puts his head down these last two years.

He's dropped down to 11% so probably not an issue this year. I'm more worried about his ability to read a defense & throw a catchable ball on time to open receivers. He still throws too many wobblers for my liking.
The new group of receivers is going to need good QB play.
