Well, it's something for people to get angry about so...

I'm just going to ignore it and hope it goes away just like this weird rash on my foot.

Tim Tebow hit a home run today off of the Palm Beach Cardinals, so there's that.

We should probably fire Matheny.

So if I said, "The University is run by morons," they could expel me or suspend me?

Unfortunately these issues take some common sense and critical thinking. This is too hard for many. They just want to think in absolute terms and devise ludicrous hypotheticals. This is why we have these problems.

many people like things black and white, colors get way to complicated. (Many of those same people really just like things white)

Anyone think the university gets involved in this b4 the events of last year? I doubt it. Never saw any evidence of it.

In other words, you don't believe the University can act on a whim and expel someone for any speech they don't like. But then your statement previously doesn't really mean anything. This stuff is hard. I understand.

Why does somebody feel the need to do this shite? This is why frat boys are hated so much. Not trying to generalize, but so many in my generation just think the world revolves around themselves.

If we get another protest, I might blow up in anger tbh. The success of our football team is helping expedite the forgetting-about-last-year process then something like this happens? I know wiBO won't allow the team to protest anymore, but MU can't take anymore bad publicity

Police Reports from the incident

As I suspected, both sides threw their fair share of insults/racial attacks.

I'm gonna call BS on the racial angle, just a couple of drunks and the race card got pulled. Nothing to see here, keep driving.

So one of the black organization members threatened to burn down the fraternity and the news story the university is pursuing is to punish the drunk frat boy that said something ignorant while drunk? 2016, what a year to be alive.

And called them "fricking crackers" and "fricking rednecks" and complained that the police only shoot blacks, not talk to them? Wow.

After reading through those reports, I'm just disgusted. The frat kids (and sorority girls) were out of line, no question. Drunk and used racial slurs. The 2 girls the slur was directed to called a bunch of friends, followed the drunks back to the DU house, and trespassed, staging a protest there. They threatened the police that if they didn't "fix this shite" it was "going down" and would be "all over tomorrow" because it was a hate crime.

Every single person involved with that mess should be ashamed of themselves. I don't care what color you are, there was wrong done across the board there.

And this is why you don't punish speech.

I can't say it's ignorance. Perhaps it's more like Mel Gibson, saying the worst thing you can think of because you're drunk.

The more I read this, the more I realize it wasn't even the frat guys that said the initial N-bomb. It was a GIRL, and happened outside Geo Sciences (a solid walk from DU).
