Just to be clear I never said any one coach is a better option. I've never said that KA should be fired after one game. Just the opposite. However, what I did say, is that no matter how much rebuilding Mizzou is going through, they should never lose to UMKC and struggle to score against Valpo.

As for making the tourney, not gonna happen this year, which is fine. I didn't expect to make the tourney this year and thought that was asking too much of KA in his first year, particularly since he is rebuilding the program instead of putting band aids on it with transfers. But we were told it would be a much more enjoyable brand of basketball to watch. So far, 2 games and 2 exhibition games into the season, it's not too watchable.

Didn't you say you were done with Mizzou basketball after the UMKC game? Maybe you should just let it go for a while.

you actually make it more enjoyable. Getting to read your knee jerk reaction posts after a meaningless loss and ridiculing the coaches, players, etc. is pure gold. that goes for both football and basketball losses.

You are one of the special ones around here that just know how to go full retard. It is a rare gift and God bless you for it.

Hey, I already know I'm special. I tried telling everyone this summer this would be a 9+ win football season and a good chance at winning the east again.

I'm also special enough to realize losing to UMKC meant diddly poo. Reading posts around here those are two definitely special qualities.

I think I'd actually like to sit down and drink a beer with you during a game.

NO!!!! I can't watch games in public. I scream at the TV all 60minutes and gotta jump around to work off the nervous energy in close games. I realized a long time ago, if i'm not at the game, i need to watch a game in the privacy of my own home.

Well I can come over and be a calming influence. I'm too old to jump around. I only scream.

I feel like that's being optimistic. Chaminade put up 85 against BYU, I can easily see them beating us. I would like to see us go small, Rosburg and Post are giving us nothing anyways. We need Gant to get cleared.

You just gave me an idea for a MIZZOU themed sports bar, we'll have rubber walls, bricks at arms reach for the several TV's that can be destroyed when the situation calls for such destruction, framed pictures of the "5th down", "Tyus Edney", "Flea Kicker", etc. and all of us sorry fricks can go there rather than destroying our own shite, I figure a door cover on game day of $25 but still cheaper than trashing your man cave.

I'm still behind KA and still will be through the next 2 seasons unless the team clearly isn't making any progress.

We don't have shite for big men. Let Anderson get some recruiting done before you judge his performance with a bunch of inherited misfits.

We only have 2 guys that play the 5, Rosburg and Post, neither of which is a D1 caliber player.

I don't have a problem with giving him 3 years. I'm still going to point out the obvious for the whole 3 years.

Puryear and VanLeer are that much better than what we have? Serious question. All I know is what I read about them, where they're ranked and how they were only discussed as options after we missed on Morgan and Whitt.

Gregg Marshall?

I wish. I will say that you cant expect much of anything this year. The only person on this roster that was here 2 years ago, Rosburg. That's it.

I just hope we can hold on to Teki for 4 years. Those looking for Clark and J3 to take control, stop. Clark is a decent ball handler trying to be a scorer, it just doesn't work. I would put Isabell over him as far as fitting to his skill set. J3 will NEVER be a dominant post player with his body type/weight. Just ain't gonna happen.

Those blaming the coaches, stop. Even Pop or Phil Jackson couldn't make these guys a successful team. Here is the truth about each player.

Teki- Our best player, unfortunately, a little young and needs muscle. will be a star. has to carry this team, which will be ugly.

Clark- A good ball handler and defender. Love the motor, but doesn't have the skill set to be a main scorer.

Shamburger- Mr. Right hand man. Can't dribble left handed, at all. Can shoot from 3, should take more shots. Decent defender. Good stopgap type of guy.

Rosburg- Love the guy, but we all know he isn't going to light up any scoreboards. Physically limited, but works hard. Good positioning, but we all know what he is.

Post- Reverse Steve, Decent offense, TERRIBLE DEFENSE. Good luck young man.

Namon- So young. Not sure what this kids role will be, but the weight room should be his new dorm room.

Allen- Develop him into a post player. Got the body for it. Can make up for a few inches of height with his wing game skills.

Isabell-high hopes. learn how to carry the team, but I like what I see.

Duece- Not sure why he isn't playing more. But it looks like he is either mad, or just doesn't care. Would like to see him take a leadership role.

Don't disagree with much of what you say 5th. Teki is our best player. The only things I might disagree with are that Post is bad at everything and Isabell needs to stop shooting. I knew this team would struggle. I knew it would be a process. Guess I just didn't realize how bit of a process.
