Any D1 coach who can't manage a relationship with Mike Alden is going to have a lot of other problems as well.

Well said. I agree.

Anybody have any idea what this about from Tiger Board? Also if the rest of that is true about Alden sitting back he is a lousy AD

The problem with Anderson is his age.....so what we get like 5-7 years out of him and then do this all over again?

He is a D2 coach. I don't care how old he is.

Nobody wants to accept the fact that no coach wants to work for Alden. I know its negative but its the truth. When will people learn?

I can't get excited about someone nearly 60 either. Hindsight maybe says Alden should have grabbed him the first go around.

I don't get the fascination with Anderson. If he's so good why is he in D2? Has any major school ever made a run at him? Yeah he's doing well in D2. But heck of that's the criteria to after the guy from Drury. He won the national title in D2.

I'd rather have Fuller than Anderson

Not that I think Anderson is bad

So.

This sounds like it's turning into a cluster frick.

Why am I not surprised that Alden would go to a search firm rather than use the resources in his contacts list?

I'll tell you why, because he pissed all those contacts off when he hired Haith. Now he has no choice.

At this point it sounds like KA would be a miracle hire, much less a big name like Marshall.

Make sure that your nut cups are in and your body is ready, because Alden is about to hire the fricking coach from Upper Iowa University or some shite.

Yesterday, Tyndall was a done deal. If it is KA, and they keep Fuller, I suggest it is to groom him for the HC job. Anderson is already almost 60. We'll be in this process again before you know it.
