Yeah, Dean was one guy that I really wanted. Seems like he's always wanted out of state, Texas was thought to be his leader until they filled up at DB. Y'all should be getting a good one in him.

Didn't know where else to ask this, what are ya'lls thoughts on TRob after 1 year / leading up to YR2?
I believe he is a rising star in the coaching ranks and isn't far away from being a HC. Any SC fans have thoughts on how long ya'll will be able to hold onto him?

I think that T-Rob is here for 5 years max.
I feel pretty confident that Bobby Bentley will be around for a while though, and I definitely see him as the next OC if something happens with Coach Roper. He wanted desperately to come back to SC, and this was the perfect situation for him.

Had two firsts in recruiting take place today for the Gamecocks:
* Had our first commitment of this weekend's camp and cookout function, with 2018 OT Jesus Gibbs out of Dumfries, VA. The 6-4 265 OL was recruited by Eric Wolford, and makes the 4th OL commitment for the 2018 class. Gibbs has offers from NC St., Wake Forest, Syracuse, East Carolina, Boston College, and Virginia to name a few.
* Also secured out first commitment of the 2019 cycle with the pledge of ILB Ahdarrious Gee out of Cordele GA. The 6-1, 190 rising junior prospect was recruited by Coleman Hutzler, and has offers from Kentucky, Vanderbilt in addition to the Gamecocks thus far....

Third commitment of the day, and 2nd commitment for the 2018 class, in 3* WR Tyquan Johnson from Sylvania GA. Johnson was recruited by Coach McClendon and was offered in June. He has other offers from Miss St., Kentucky, East Carolina, Wake Forest, West Virginia, Kansas, and Cincinnati among others....

We secured a fourth commit as well on Sunday, JUCO WR Ronnie Jamison. Pretty under the radar guy I would say but has the size to be a nice surprise. He's originally from Irmo so he's definitely a hometown kid.

Gets up to the podium for his announcement. 3 hats on the table: us, FSU and I can't even remember the 3rd. Puts our hat on, then takes it off and says he is committing to FSU.
Other ppl who paid a little more attention than I did noticed that the FSU hat was the only one that had it's tags taken off. Cheap Douche.

What makes it sting even worse, to me, is that he is a South Carolina kid. But he said that he was "waiting on the offer from Clemson but it never came" so he must not have been a Gamecock to begin with. frick him.

Y'all look like you've forgotten what Marcus Lattimore did when he committed. He didn't put the auburn hat on but pulled a gamecock hat out from behind it. Kids do this shite all the time, I ain't shook.

A surprise commitment tonight as SDE Kingsley Enagbare of Atlanta, GA committed to South Carolina over UGA and GT. Enagbare also had offers from Auburn, Tennessee, North Carolina, NC State, Wake Forest, Maryland, East Carolina, and WVU among others....
