another product of superior evaluation. We were first major offer of the kid when he was barely in the top 600. Now he's # 22 in the nation.

There's amazing players out there who just never get a good enough look. Muschamp and co. are changing that, especially within the state. We shouldn't be surprised at all either, Muschamp said that was his goal when he got the job, to build a great team from players within 5 hours drive of Columbia.

Thats correct. Spurs up cookout is this Saturday. The list should be finalized by friday.

Sandidge's mother confirmed he will be at camp on Friday and at the cook out on Saturday. Other than that I don't really know who else will be there. Probably Vann and Tindall I would guess but I reckon we'll find out later this week.

Tindall, Vann and Sandidge are ours to lose.

Absolutely, considering Tindall could very well be a 5* before all is said and done. That kid is good. Vann, I don't really know what he'll do, seems to waffle back between UGA and USC pretty consistently so I'm not holding my breath. Sandidge's fam really wants him to be a Gamecock and they're very vocal about it. It's one of those cases where there's too much noise almost, I could see him maybe slipping to UF or somewhere depending on how this season goes. Hopefully I'm wrong there.
Edit: I was just messing around on the 247 class calculator. If we land just those 3 guys mentioned, our score would shoot up to 194, launching us from #36 to #12. Obviously they're not all going to commit at once and there's plenty of recruits not committed anywhere yet but a little perspective on how they'd help us in the rankings.

We've gotten several Crystal ball picks for us landing 4* Safety Trey Dean recently. Kid is from GA and one of the CB's we got was from the main guy that covers UGA recruiting so that's a good sign.

If we can pull in Vann, Tindall, Sandidge, Joyner and now this Safety, that's a pretty solid class. Trust in the process friends. No one said we'd get there immediately but Boom and co. are showing progress on the recruiting trail.

The thing about our recruiting is that we don't have the Storied History that allows for getting recruits to commit in the preseason. When we go out and show positive traction on the field during the season, we will start locking some guys up.

We don't have the brand some colleges have, but if we turn our season into something positive we can make up ground.
