Supposed to have been leading for WR Dexter Neal, who is listed as a commit, but apparently is high on UcheaT right now per his twitter.

He said that he was thinking about going to the Vols with his buddy Duke Shelley, but Shelley's commitment was just rejected by the Vol staff...soooo...there's that.
Who knows, I hope Dexter stays here, but we have some things moving on the upswing with some huge WR recruits.
George Campbell isn't just pie in the sky right now.
Also, 5 Star WR Preston Williams, a volol commit, was just projected to flip to USC.

I think he did that b/c of the twitter comment, but again, Duke was denied by the Volol coaches, so that might kill that idea.

What I saw was a good athlete who just wasn't the biggest kid in on the field, he had decent competition. He has solid instincts and hits with authority. He also must watch a good amount of film b/c he saw plays develop a lot and put himself in a position to force a lot of turnovers. He has really good hands to and is a threat fro a pick anytime he drops back into coverage. He has decent speed, but not blazing, I would think 4.6-4.7 sounds about right. His frame is also really solid, he's probably a legit 6'3" He plays with a lot of fire, but I also like how respectful he was with the officials, he always ran the ball over to them after he scored (good character move.) His first step though is very quick, I bet he plays basketball too for his school. I like him, glad we offered, hopefully he comes in for the Jr Day.

DJ Jones
2015 JUCO DT. He will be Sawyer's teammate at EEMC. He is from he played HS ball at Wren in SC. He was just named the #1 JUCO DT in the country by 247, 96 rating. We offered and I think we lead. Deke wanted Sawyer to go to this JUCO so he could recruit both at the same time and have them feed off each other, plus Deke has a good relationship with the coaches there already...Deke is smart.

We finally offered instate CB, Kaleb Chalmers. He plays at Greenwood, same school as Swearinger and Quarles.

The guy shooting the highlight video didn't do a great job, several of the plays were going on out of frame, and that was rather annoying. As far as Kaleb, he's a great ATH, they use him at CB/WR/KR. The 4.5 40 is probably legit. He has decent acceleration. He plays with too much cushion though when he's in man coverage. He does a good job though getting back to the run play when the offenses would try sweeps. I think we have some other great options at KR, but I think he could help at DB for sure. I like his size too and his strength measurements. His conditioning also appears to be very good too sense they play him both ways. I'm happy we offered. clemson is going after him hard and they are just down the road from him, so we'll see what happens.

Jalen Christian 4 Star ATH, #1 player in MD, has been favoring Va Tech and USC...something changed today and now JC from 247 is predicting SC. It has something to do with opportunity to play WR at USC. We're losing several Sr's next year and the depth chart could be wide open so that is going to be attractive to several WR's...especially considering that Connor Mitch is a known gunslinger and our OL recruiting has been on point.

Jones admittedly likes the opportunity South Carolina would provide to get back closer to home.
"They've always produced some good defensive linemen, some interior guys," Jones said. "They've got some good coaches. I grew up in Clemson, but I've always had an interest in South Carolina."
Defensive line coach Deke Adams, who landed four-star defensive lineman Abu Lamin from the JUCO ranks last class, is recruiting Jones for the Gamecocks.
"He's been talking to me," Jones said. "I like him. I like his background. I like who he's coached. He's a good guy; he's a good coach."

Jones is also getting to know his new teammate, defensive end Dante Sawyer who signed with the Gamecocks in 2014 and enrolled at East Mississippi last week in an effort to be in Columbia by 2015.
Sawyer was sitting in the room with Jones when he spoke with 247Sports Sunday. Have the two discussed the possibility of playing together at the next level?
"We have, we have -- several times," Jones said. "It's a very high chance [that happens] being that its my home state. It's about an hour and 20 minutes from my house. It's not that bad of a ride for family and that's No. 1 on my list."
