'd be one thing for them if this was a one time thing. But this is how their offense has performed against good defenses post-Marshall.

Please become our AD.

You understand the issue better than Tweedledum.

JJ makes $1600 per day. Would you take the job for $1000 per day?

The problem is all the routes we were calling were downfield routes and Clemson had two deep safeties all night and blitzing the LBs the whole second half. On probably 6 of the 11 sacks our receivers hadn't even finished their routes before Stidham was finished.

A coach with any level of understanding would have called more underneath or crossing routes or had some sort of check down option for the QB. We did none of those things.

Bingo.

I'll take it for free. I'm one of you. I love Auburn and the creed. Look how much I fit in. I am here to do the Family proud.

Clemson's defense is that good. And Auburn's offense/QB is bad.

The worst thing that could have happened was that month stretch where Auburn and Pettway feasted on terrible run defenses (Arkansas, Ole Miss, Miss State).

Certainly fooled me. Now I don't think Gus is salvageable. The program is in good hands with talent, grades, discipline, but the results aren't showing on the field and I don't think he can turn it around anymore.

It is interesting that the stuff people were most concerned about with Gus (program management type stuff, recruiting) he's actually done a pretty good job at. His pros (offense) have been his downfall.

Football is weird.

Possibly. They were very good. We did not capitalize on the two opportunities we had inside the 10 yard line early

With that being said, I think our defense did a pretty good job on the Clemson offense as well

Of the two defenses I saw, FSU has a better one.

Clemson's defense is good. Very good. It's not "hold a supposed top 15 team to 115 yards" good. Clemson's dominance doesn't change the fact that Auburn put an incompetent offense on the field on Saturday. Some of the issues showed themselves against a bad Georgia Southern team. They were magnified against Clemson.

Kinda like the threads that Scar fans start that say "Thoughts on Muschump" and stuff like that, hoping that people will come by and tell y'all that you aren't as shitty as you usually are hahahaha

It's pathetic that most of these comments are about football and then there are the same dumb frick Scar fans that come through babbling the same shite that every fan base says about each other. I understand why y'all don't want to talk football, but just txt Carolina Girl and y'all can't act like y'all matter

FSU is really fast, particularly in the secondary. Fast secondaries don't have an impact on the game when the team you are playing wants to run it down your throat.

I think we match up better against Bama and what they try to do

I gotta disagree with you. Don't equate recruiting stars to actual offensive talent. Gus has not only struggled as a playcaller, but also as a talent developer. AU has good HB's, but where is the NFL caliber talent at WR, TE, OL, QB? It's just not that good of an offense, regardless of who is calling plays.

Is it elite talent? No. Is it anywhere nearly as bad as what it looks like in this offense? No. Craig, Davis, Stove, and Slayton are a fine receiving corp. TE we don't even pretend to use. Outside of one position the OL isn't bad.

and honestly has for nearly 3 years against any defense with a pulse. this is all that needs to be said. clemson was very beatable saturday and gus once again snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

However, don't fool yourself. Every team with decent athletes on defense has done this to us since Nick Marshall left 3 seasons ago. That's why we are melting. We tried to convince ourselves it was the QB but it's not, it's Gus. 100% Gus.

Their D line is like Auburn, all super hyped up ESPN 300 guys that haven't ever really done much. They are super fast and athletic, not very physical.

So like I said..
