FSU and LSU have very similar strength defenses. I think FSUs Dline is probably better than LSUs. I like our LBs more and certainly who is coaching them. DBs they probably have more NFL talent but our DBs are no slouches and have easily better coaching in Raymond.

LSU I think will be our toughest SEC matchup, but it's a home game this year
Yeah except that in this series, this really doesn't matter. Last time we beat Bama was in Tuscaloosa.

Last few in Tuscaloosa were not good
21 and 14 point losses, compared OT or last minute losses at home.

Absolutely right. Saban plays kinda "conservative" on offense against LSU bc he knows we have serious talent in the defensive backfield and doesn't want to risk throwing int's that could lose the game for him really quick. LSU is the best defensive team bama plays damn near every year and saban knows it...therefore, he cant come out super aggressive bc the risk is too high. He knows that against LSU bama has to run the ball to open up the pass, he absolutely has to. Saban knows about the DBU baby. Geaux tigers.
You guys are arguing against each other and don't even know it
I originally said Saban knew he could walk into Tiger Stadium last year, play extremely conservative, and likely get out with a W. So I agree with you. However, the issue is that your fellow LSU fans were arguing that because Bama only put up 10 on LSU, it proves Aranda is the best DC in the country. But if Saban knows he only needs 10 points to win a game, he isn't going to do things that are more aggressive and risky. So no, Saban isn't going to try and put 30 up and take the risks of turning the ball over etc. when he can win 10-0 or 17-7 in that range without making mistakes on offense
Your P&G brethren argue against each other while trying to stay united and it's cute.
This entire string fed from me saying Aranda was one of the best, but I thought there were other good DCs too

I mean really, this is the thread where L6U delusional fans convince themselves they have multiple All Americans, 7 first rounders, multiple players that will start on NFL rosters blah blah blah.
I don't think anybody has said that but I'd be willing to bet the following: baring injury:
Arden Key will be a top 10 pick
Devin White will be a day one pick
Rashard Lawrence will be a day one pick most likely a first rounder.
Kevin Toliver will be a day one pick.
Donte Jackson will be drafted and make a team.
Ed Alexander will be drafted and make a team.
This isn't including any freshman like Delpit that has future first rounder written all over him.

Haven't seen this. Key should end up on someone's list though
He's going to have to play to do that. I really don't think he's going to. I said it back in the spring when he "left the team" and LSU fans keep saying it's only a matter of time, but he's still not playing and still not cleared.
The way Ed Orgeron speaks about the situation and is handling it is starting to remind me of Carl Lawson in 2015. He was "day-to-day" and "hopeful to return next week" from week 1 until the season was over and missed all of 2015.
Only this Key situation is different. T e way it's been handled since the spring, I think Key is trying to sit out the entire season to "save himself" for the draft. Taking Leonard Fournettes stunt from last year's bowl game to a whole nother shameful level.
Bookmark this if you want LSU fans, but I don't think Key plays a down for LSU in 2017.
