The score of the iron bowl at halftime was 13-12 or something like that. If it wasn't for our inept offense going 3 and out every drive our defense would've looked way better.

don't forget the 2 picks jalen threw on auburn.

Yep, and Alabama had over 250 yards of total offense. Finished with 501.

Why? Alabama moved the ball from the opening whistle. Had nothing to do with your defense getting tired.

Hurts was intercepted by Jamal Adams on Bama's first offensive series. If you watch that play Adams new exactly where they were throwing it presnap. Even Lane Kiffin said Aranda was a step ahead of him for the majority of the game.

I can understand not being really aggressive with a true freshman QB playing in Baton Rouge but Aranda's gameplan and scheme vs Bama was superior to anything they faced last season.

Same can be said for Louisville's offense with Petrino and Lamar Jackson.

Its not defenses getting tired man, When you give the opposing team countless drives to score sooner or later they will. Our team didn't even complete long drives or complete many first downs, our offense was absolutely garbage.

Yds don't equate to the success you had on the field, Auburn had 543 yds rushing against arky and scored 56 pts. Bama gets 501 yds and scores 30 pts. Then you skip over the fact Auburn forced 2 turnovers.

Somebody needs to watch the 2nd half of Clemson game to see what happens to a defense constantly on the field when the offense went 3-18 on 3rd down.

Yes you may have had 501 yds of offense but that doesn't tell the whole story. If Auburn had any QB not named Jeremy Johnson on offense and a healthy Running backs you surely lose that game last year.

So with Sean White and a healthy Kam Pettway Auburn "surely" beats Alabama.

Even you don't honestly believe that nonsense, right?

That's the whole point of this. FSU and LSU both gave our offense every chance to put them away but their defenses never broke. There was a never a sooner or later they will.

Auburn's did, and it wasn't even that late into the 3rd qtr.

Guess what...We're probably not going to hear a whole lot from FSU the rest of the year. D is great to have, but you need offense to take you to where you want to go also....

A healthy Sean White and Kam Pettway won 6 straight games in a row fam, it definitely would've been more competitive. We had a injured back and #2 was out with injury as well.

We haven't had a capable QB in the Iron Bowl in the last 2 years man.

Get over yourself.

Do you want me to list out the 6 opponents or no?

You literally just said that with Sean White and Kam Pettway Auburn definitely beats Alabama. The reasoning is because those 2 healthy beat LSU, ULM, Miss St, Arkansas, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt.

Yes, how dare I question that. What an arrogant Bammer.

does it matter? winning is winning... stop deflecting away from your terrible offensive performance while glorifying FSU's average Defense.

It matters when your assessment is those wins = beating Alabama, yes.

I'm guessing you knew that, though.

Bama offense sucks at the moment.

FSU is an Average Defense.

THE END

(waits for the "we're still better than Auburn" comment for deflection purposes)

I think FSU stacks up well against LSU and Auburn talent wise. They've recruited very will over the years. The difference between them is development. FSU defense should be performing at a higher level. It's the same thing with their Offensive line.

This is unequivocally false. Unless they get hit with the injury bug, FSU's defense is easily top 20. Most likely top 10.

they weren't top 20 last year so what are you basing this off of? statistically they gave up 30 in 6 games and 60 in one game...find me a stat where FSU had a top 10 or even 20 defense?

The 2nd half of the season they gave up 17 PPG and 260 YPG. They returned 9 starters and added the best player in college football at safety.

Arguing their 2017 defense is average is just silly.

This year

They have the talent and went toe-to-toe with Alabama. The offense and special teams lost that game for FSU. Did you not watch the game?

Apparently it's just because our offense is total dogshite.

Why do people purposely lie to themselves? I don't get it.
