Wait, to State fans think they're going to be as good this year as they were last year?

We'll actually be better offensively

It would not surprise me to see Mississippi State beat up on LSU again.

If they are crying and leaving early it will be because they miss home and LSU has a huge lead

I'm ignorant as to State's offense, so this is an honest question: what, other than Dak and Bear, do yall bring back on offense? Didn't you lose a lot on the line?

1. No you won't
2. JR left
3. We actually will put our best foot forward at MLB this year instead of the human tree stump DJ Welter

No depth on defense for State? Expect to see Leonard Fournette trucking MSU defenders all night

Not trying to be cocky but I don't even think the game is going to be close. LSU wins by 21 points. The game last year was a freak thing, no way that happens again.

Wow, nearly every post from an LSU fan in this thread boasts extreme confidence to the point of them thinking Mississippi State won't even keep the game close against LSU.

Y'all do realize that this isn't the Mississippi State of old and the roster talent is very similar, right?

Lsu won't lose this year and the loss last year was an anomaly that woke the team up. The defense already looks 2x better than it did last year and they finished #1 in the sec. If Harris starts then our offense will be deadly.

The two best teams in the sec will be auburn and lsu and I don't see a Msu team that lost everyone last year even competing with us

no, they didn't....

Unless you count that moral victory stat of yardage instead of the stat that actually deals with the outcome of games...

What will hurt them is how early they play. MSU's offensive line is a big question and that doesn't give them a whole lot of time to gel..

Quote from Dan Mullen- "there's only, what, two guys on the offensive line that got bunches of snaps last year.......I just wish we could get like 15 more reps for them this spring. That would help a lot"

...might have butchered the way part of it was worded...can't find the article. Point is...if they can't figure it out in Fall Camp....Eddie O's D-Line finna eat.

I think it will be a good game and could be an early indicator for both teams.

Once the beast 52 was put in the middle the defense was dominant. And yes, in total defense we were the highest in the sec LINK

I'm just going to assume you don't even college football, bro.

Spring football games aren't a good indicator of what is to come.

yeah...like I said...The moral victory stat.

Points on the board is all that matters. Unless the NCAA starts scoring games based on yardage....then this argument is finished.

You're right but you see when your team has a qb competition the spring game is the best chance the fans get to see the qbs go head to head on a level playing field during the off season. Both improved a ton since last season so in some indication, yes the spring game matters
